Stupidity.com begins when the institution becomes a ground-prison of the souls working in it.
The limits of it's regulation are the wires of the camp. Unseen beliefs you bet, but felt to the point of keeping the mouth shut, despite the pressure imposed by them.
The most unfortunate people working in organizations are those who identify themselves with the organization they are working with. In a bunch of folks, you spit a name, and fifty people stand up to defend that name, without realizing that they have embodied someone's hallucination.
Typical for those who mix up the pencil with it's purpose.
Idolatry in the conceptual form is the most frequent case and the only reason why institutions fail and people cannot grow to their potential.

Sometimes I think that even people who claim to believe in God is just believing in names... in a mental construct of theirs... something different than reality. The Creator is not dependent on anyone's belief... so we do not define, shape or create The Creator.... but I do believe that we often make up images, even monotheistic ones, in our minds, and thereby define, shape and create a god that we then worship. I guess this is how people can both claim to believe in God and at the same time act as if they follow nothing but evil and vice. I don't think believing in God is about believing in God. Believing in God is all about realizing and seeing reality for what it is, seeing oneself with all weaknesses and limitations and understanding that we don't really know much at all. Belief in God is not the upholding of some mental image of a divine creator, but rather the continuous struggle towards peace and purification, inner first and also outer. Without a profound inner humility and strive to surrender, your faith in God/reality is rather weak. Belief in God is not blind. Sensing reality is not done blind. Sensing what is right, and doing it, is not blind action. A huge portion of real belief in God is the realization that we have many, many weaknesses and misconceptions. We must be humble and admit that we are mistaken in many things... we must admit that we simply don't know. The most ignorant one is the one who knows it all, and insists the other's are wrong. Thinking that you know most of the important answers is a sure sign of ignorance and blindness.... the opposite of humility and surrender.
Most what we entertain in the mind, as beliefs, are nothing but names that we worship... and that has not necessarily anything to do with reality and The Creator.

I tend to agree with your analysis. The more we know about GOD the less our mental image of him becomes, until we simply cannot imagine. If we cannot even comprehend some of His attributes, how can we build any kind of image in our minds?
Until we meet Him, He is simply the "Creator", "One God", "Unique", "None like Him".... Unimaginable...
However the more we search/strive to get closer to Him the more we find our true and free self.
