      Qaraites are not Karaites
I have commented directly to one of the members on Facebook (Amir Ishaq Al-Sulaimani)... This is some of what i Wrote

I do like the Karaite/Torah Alone factor, however, i would not advocate the mixing of commandments from the Quran + the Torah.
God Almighty has differentiated us and gave us different laws and rites (54.

The sabbath, the salats, Fasting on yom kippor, Ashura....
It's mixed between the Quran and previous scriptures.

Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with GOD's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny?all of you?then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.

        Salam Youssef,

I think the Quran doesn't expound a lot about manhaj (in your translation as rites).
So to have assumptions that special manhaj can only be practiced by followers of that special shir3ah is IMHO quite baseless.
Another thing is to interpret based on 548 that Allah SWT did not wanted the ummah united is contradictory to the following passage

, "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. (51) And indeed this, your ummah, is one ummah, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." (52) But the people divided their ummah among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. (53) So leave them in their confusion for a time. (54)
        Al-Mu'minun 2351-54

It is those who divides the ummah is that which is considered creating sects. Having different shir3ah or manhaj does not mean creating different sects but rather so that we would get to know each other

        Sahih International
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

        wallahua3lam and peace,
        Johan

Peace be with you as well
Brother, at the end you have mixed up religious rites and practices 548 with nations/tribes/race 4913

God has given the Children of Israel different Laws than us in the Torah.
We are not obligated to keep the Sabbath nor wear clothes of the same thread material which would be commandments from the Torah... God has not failed to include everything into the Quran which he would have wanted us to do 638

Thus God has clearly Differentiated us, and If he had willed, he would have made us into one congregation, as he cites in 548 and 1693....

If you noticed that the passage I quote of 2354 alludes to the confusion that people have in their ability to unite under one ummah..

So leave them in their confusion for a time. (2354)

and IMHO if we concentrate too much on the intricacies of the details we will miss the bigger picture..
I would opt to the interpretation that the mentioning of the manhaj is only once in the Quran, and that we have gone a little too far in taking a rigid stance towards the interpretation of the manhaj as to put us in a position of none conforming between the many beliefs.

if we were to agree that the most fundamental good is to submit, than nothing that the believers choice of action would go against Allah SWT so long as he guards himself against doing wrong to others.

            Sahih International
Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims ."

taking part in sabbath or jum3ah prayer is entirely the believers choice, and we should not judge their action on that..
let Allah SWT be the judge..

            Regards,
            Johan

Brother, Yes i would understand your position.

My Current Understanding would be that God Almighty differentiated us and gave us different commandments and laws, as clearly in 548 it basically states to judge between them with the Quran and don't follow their rules if they differ from what you have, For each one of you we have given different laws and rites...

And this would seems logical because of things like

              Contradictions between rules
Are you going to Stone the Adulterous (Torah), or Lash them (Quran)?
Are you going to keep the sabbath, when we are not obligated to keep the sabbath as per 16124

Moreover, in 364, it would allude to finding common grounds between us, not unifying our belief system into one.

Then follow the Quran if you believe in it..
But does it stops you from taking part in the sabbath?

they are not willing to take part in what the quran orders because they don't believe in it..give them time to see the signs..mean while i would not severe the ties by creating another mosque, church, synagogue, etc.. but rather join them when the activities are in alignment with the Quran and leave when not..

                peace

Concerning the cult of the self-appointed "Amir" otherwise known as Isaac Solomons, he has read a couple of books and confused a great deal to try and re-create (from anyway biased Jewish sources) the Isawiyah or Issuni Madhab which is popularly seen as a bridge between Judaism and Islam and Christianity.

True Karaism or Qaraism is nothing like that.

Excluding Isaac Solomons' home made "Qaraims" from the picture, there are really only Karaites (a type of Christian) and Karaite Jews who are in fact the real representatives of the wicked Yahood mentioned in Islamic sources representing a modern day continuation of the Sadducee tradition. They are the followers of Daniel al-Qumisi who opposed Abu Hanifa's student Anan ben David.

In Islamic sources, the Pharisee Jews are called Alazeena Haadu, meaning "Those who Guide" which is a reference to a comment Jesus made about them in the Gospel of Matthew. They do not really get a bad press in Islamic sources compared to the Yahood who are represented in an extremely negative way.

Concerning the Karaite Christians on the other hand, they are not mentioned anywhere in Islamic literature although they themselves do claim to be its rightful inheritors. They claim that the Arabic term Qari used to refer to someone who recites the Islamic Quran is derived from their name. They believe in the Islamic Quran but they call it the Hadith, and they seldom distinguish it from other sayings of Muhammad (salallahu aleihi wasalam) whom they call Abu Qasim interpreting this name to mean "Father Qasim" (the name of an Eastern Christian Monk famous for writing Ecclesiastical poetry) rather than as Father of Qasim, an interpretation which they argue would contradict the Islamic Quran. They use the tafsir of Timothy I of Baghdad to interpret the Hadith (in which they include the Quran) but reject any parts which contradict the Karaite Lectionary (which they claim is the original one and only true Quran). They are the followers of Abu Hanifa's student Anan benn David. Basically, they are a sort of early Christian Muslim. You can find a lot about them if you google "Karaite Church".

                  Hope this helps.

But the Quran also says we should follow and believe in all scriptures.

Say "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith. Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah and the last day and does good-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve. 5.68 - 69

Well sad bigmo. God is not a man that He needs to change his mind. God does not need to try out an idea and discard it later. If there is not one single consistent way to interpret any scripture in harmony with the scriptures it comes after, then they are not divine. Ibn Hazm's doctrine of tahrif in this case therefore is a totally man-made affront.
