sura 66 verse 1 says that prophet should not forbid
what is allowed by Allah.
If you see quranic details by experts,they claim that it was a sort of toxic drink which he used upon which he faced criticism by his wives,so he declared this drink as haram to him.you can also see the name of this drink in the explanation of quran.This shows that certain drinks are not forbidden by Allah.Any comments..... -

Like IjazAhmed said, if you'd kindly post those details that mention the drinks, we can look at it from different angles.
- Personally though, I can't see any hints to any drinks in or around 661. Perhaps I missed something.
- Secondly, why would the prophet have been drinking something toxic and why would Allah tell him off just because he forbid something bad upon himself. What's the moral of that version of the story?
- Obviously, if the ayat in context does not forbid certain specific drinks, then those certain drinks are not forbidden. Whatever is forbidden should be mentioned as forbidden somewhere in the quran. What does "certain drinks" mean anyway, and what has it to do with the ayat and the alleged "toxic drink"?

If any expert has seen " toxic drink" in that ayat ,they must have been on a very "toxic drink " themselves before and while reading the ayat?

Well! Isn't it enough that we know the Prophet made something forbidden which the God had made permissible? This ayat is enough to tell us that the Prophet could not make things halal and haram. He did it in 661 and got corrected by the God.
Now, even if it's a toxic drink or something else, doesn't matter! This is what happened 1400 years ago and it was between the God and his messenger. Some parts of the Qur'an are solely for the Messenger. To explain one book which the God had made simple for human beings to understand, ponder and reflect upon, the Muslims have written 1 million books to explain the Book of Allah with their own ideas and additions! bravo

I agree that if the Qur'an does not make explicit nor hints clearly at something, why should we go around and around trying to pry loose a knowledge that manifestly is not provided to us. We do not need to know. What will we get out of it?
There are several of those recurrent questions on which we keep harring on and on to get the Qur'an to tell us something it does not, one might be Maryams' virginity. Another one the condemnation or punishment or whatever of private "homosexuality" whatever we may understand by that.
May be there are things which are off limits for us to judge or to intrude upon, except when they touch us personally by way of ourselves or by way of pesons close to us. I am sure all fo us, if confronted with those things which the Qur'an does not explicit, we would find our way and inspiration to do the right thing. But may be they are not for massive dealings.
Without getting into those conflictual matters the Qur'an does give plente of injonctions to do very good things and to avoid bad things. If we stick to those we have our hands full of good deed we can engage in and plenty for us to avoid, so although there is nothing wrong with reflecting on everything, when we try to make of every conflictual thing a matter of life or death we are complicating things for us and taking on tasks that God has not burdened us with.

I am aware of the honey story and also the jealousy tale as well, these tales are meant to bring home the point
that Prophet Muhammad was not to make laws or use his office to influence believers to enact behaviors
not ordered by God. The Muslims were to be careful and not prohibit what is lawful like the Christians and Jews
before them. However, the tales and stories are not needed because we have the Quran, and God succinctly
statesO you prophet, why do you prohibit what GOD has made lawful for you, just to please your wives? GOD
is Forgiver, Merciful.The prophet was ordered not to make lawful or unlawful to please his wives or anyone else.
We are not to repeat the errors made by the Jews and Christians
Eight kinds of livestock regarding the two kinds of sheep, and the two kinds of goats, say, "Is it the two
males that He prohibited, or the two females, or the contents of the wombs of the two females? Tell me what you
know, if you are truthful."Regarding the two kinds of camels, and the two kinds of cattle, say, "Is it the two males that He prohibited,
or the two females, or the contents of the wombs of the two females? Were you witnesses when GOD decreed such
prohibitions for you? Who is more evil than those who invent such lies and attribute them to GOD? They thus mislead
the people without knowledge. GOD does not guide such evil people."For those who are Jewish we prohibited animals with undivided hoofs; and of the cattle and sheep
we prohibited the fat, except that which is carried on their backs, or in the viscera, or mixed with bones.
That was a retribution for their transgressions, and we are truthful.So what was their transgression?
All food used to be lawful for the Children of Israel, until Israel imposed certain prohibitions on themselves
before the Torah was sent down. Say, "Bring the Torah and read it, if you are truthful."Those who fabricate false prohibitions after this, and attribute them to GOD, are truly wicked.
