    Salam.

i was also a sunni muslim like most of you here...my familly are quite strict muslims, i have recently told them im a monotheist and they treating me like i need a exorxism lol!

Did they practice Ruqyah on you? To expel the evil genie ..>.. from your body? ;D

and i feel blessed allah has guided me so I dont care much what my familly says...but sometimes its hard I feel lonely and I dont know any other quran only muslims

I can understand... I suppose many of us here in the similar situation.

Keep your faith in Allah, be patient and keep steadfast.

    Welcome to the forum. group

          Salaam faye,
          Welcome to this forum welcome
I'm glad you came to this place to discover the wisdom.
Sorry about your problems with your family,
there many Quran-only people here who have the similar situations
          in which you have experienced.
I hope you'll strengthen your faith alone
as you learn about the Qu'ran by yourself here.

          Peace. peace

            No, thankfully.

My mother know that I don't follow sunna anymore, and she still doesn't support me in this, but I guess my family won't think that I need ruqyah/exorcism.

I suppose they don't really believe in such thing as "posessed by jinn", and I think they aren't easily frightened by "jinn" or anything like that.

            Peace.

              Peace,

I am so afraid of "religious" people. They are so blind and accept decrees without questioning from their leaders and if tradition says something then it is always the truth. Words can never be corrupted they seem to believe, and considered how deeply a word's definition may seem rooted they will never learn. As long as they keep peaceful they are okay, but one should always be wary.

              God bless you

                Peace,

Joke and I am not afraid of them, but their behavior is dangerous. And they are corruptors (kafir) without perceiving while they themselves would say "but we are merely improving things" (carrying out their delusive version of God's will). But so they are lost in their apparent faith, and dumb, deaf and blind they will never return. Satan has made their works seem pleasing to their eyes.

                God bless you

I KNOW!! Dont even get me started on their rude and distrespectfull rants even though they arent educated about the quran, I was naive enough to post something on facebook and you are right some people got very aggresive. Eventhough I did not say anything offensive

                        Peace,

Sadly they know but very little, and they are arrogant, but worst of all is that they spread mischief across the lands. The mischief is the worst while they can keep to their own polluted version of God's will as long as no one is hurt.

The aggression and in the worst areas oppression and murder are the worst atrocities that these people perform. And they self-righteously give themselves the right to execute people they deem to be heretics or kafiroon.

And sorry for getting you started again. Hope you can calm down.

                        God bless you

Welcome. You've come to a good place.
As most of us already know, there is a huge difference between 'religion' and man-made religious institutions.
Religion is a relationship between YOU and GOD, and no other person.
Wishing you the best on the right path.
