God=Good & Satan=Bad

I think the word God is not a name of a character. Its an attribute. To me "The creator" sounds better. I personaly dont like that word God as it doesnt give any meaning to me. May be it means something in other language. But in english "The creator" is more logical.
Same goes for "satan". I donno what it means but "Evil" sounds better to me.
But what I intended to post in this thread is that.....may be if we could think God as good-nature/positive energy and Satan as bad-nature/negetive-energy than how would it be? Will it help to understand things more simple way ?
fromm all these discussions on this forum...the way we addres God is like a character. It sounds like a macho man dominating everything. I think we are stuck in this maze of characterizing everything in specific form. I think it creates a wall around our mind. Cant we think of the creator in a different way ?

YES!! It is just this slight shift in PERCEPTION that makes so much difference.
However, I would not use CREATOR, because there is already a word for that, and I certainly would not say "GOOD" because this makes it look like Satan is equally powerful to the God and thats not the case.
I view "The God" as "The All" , meaning all that exsists, both seen and unseen, is the manifestation of the God. I see the God as the BODILESS INTELLIGENCE that permeates ALL THINGS seen and unseen.
When you see the MATHEMATICAL PATTERNS throughout creation, you know an inteligence had to come before it.
But again, we can never make the God and "devil" to be equals, good and bad is better represented by "malaikas" and "shayteen" (so called angels and devils).
I hope you see the differnece, if not, let me know, I was just reading an argument about this the other day. If your concept of the God is that He is of equal power to the devil, then what hope do we have? We have to KNOW that the God is WAAAAAAAY above any "devil".
The thought alone is powerful and encouraging D

well brother ..the way I think for now is that there is no such thing as good or bad to The All.. It is nutral/perfect balance. Everything is just same to it. Pure energy....
Only we think of good or bad as our energy follows in a specific pattern...but may be this this pattern can change according to our growth of spirit. But whatever changes happen it will always have a pattern and thats why we need to set up good and bad veriable which also changes according to the growth of our spirit..
But to "The All" its all the same. Neutral/perfect balance/perfect energy flow

Yes, you made perfect sense. SO it follows that if "good" and "bad" are just energies, then the God is still above the energy. Thats all I was saying. We cannot equate the God with the Good Energy that is opposite the bad enegy, He is above both.
