does anybody know what is al hikmah since in my quran it means sunnah but what is realy al hikmah. thanks

Al-Hikmah literally means "Wisdom" in the Arabic dictionary.

Very few people actually posses this wisdom/al-hikmah and they are not traditional "muslim" scholars, nor the lovers of hadith.

The ones with wisdom are the ones who love and fear Allah only and can actually understand the Quran without needing to accept additional sources apart from their common sense (hence Al-Hikmah)

Edit2 Sorry, I dingle dangle between all three of these words, i.e. wisdom, authority and judgement. Certainly if you have wisdom then you can judge fairly though yes

Al-Hikmah = Wisdom / Understanding

No! we follow what is followed by our forefathers. Even though their forefather do not understand anything and not guided.
The similitude of those who are KUFR is as if; one who shout to things that listen to nothing, yet calls and cries; deaf, dumb and blind.They are void of understanding.

I also perceive hikmah as wisdom.

For me it's more like the wisdom that we can obtain through learning God's scriptures e.g. the Qur'an + observing, contemplation, and self-reflection.
