A Thinking Heart ?!

Salam Friends,
I was going to post something about the Qur'an and the Heart,
But first I want to know what you people think about it?We all know thinking is the function of the brain?
So what do you think "Heart that do no undersstand"So before I post the official thing, I would love to know what others think, and what others have heared.

There are many words from the Arabic recitation that rather have idiomatic meaning or of similitude. One example is the word for face in many cases does not mean face but mind or perception. In the case of heart it may mean conscience or a similar word. A heart is literally a simple but powerful muscle doing one thing and that is pumping blood and God obviously must have known that and hence the word has to form a word of similitude.
Nothing definite, but it is worth taking into consideration. And I recommend always looking at a few verses before the one in question and a few after to see the connection depending on the context. The verse numbering is often deceptive and may cause one to neglect the context they are in. Personally I think the verse numbers were not part of the original composition. And often phrases cut at the end of a verse is supposed to be part of the subsequent one. To me it indicates that someone cut it there without understanding where the passage was supposed to end.
It is easy to spot when verses begin with 'wa' (and) or 'ya mumineen' etc, but there are occasions where it seems as if a sentence suddenly is cut in the middle of it. It is a weakness of the Arabic that it lacked punctuation during that era and that clowns tried to decipher the text.

Per my humble understanding reasoning (with heart of soul), seeing (with eyes of soul) and hearing (with ears of soul) have very subtle but specific meanings in Qur'an. Please note that Qu'ran ommitts the "of soul" expression, I am adding it for clarity of what I am trying to express.
Reasoning (with heart of soul) The ability of human beings to reason and analyze in the unobservable realm (al-ghaib). Reason of science, which reasons in the observable realm is the reason of brain... but the reasons why we believe in God, or believe in afterlife - are "reasons of heart".
Seeing (with eyes of soul) The ability of analyzing an experience and observe signs of Allah or lessons beyond the mere information component of the experience.
Hearing (with ears of soul) The ability of listening to an advice or suggestion and internalizing it for implementation in one's own life.
The people who are devoid of the above 3 abilities have been called "Deaf, dumb and blind" in Qur'an.
This is my understanding, sharing with you just in case it helps you understand Qur'an better.
May Allah guide us all to the straight route.
