    Asalaam aleikum,

As I was researching on hadith, I came across this website www.discover-the-truth.com

There's a lot of Quran-alone bashing in there. It's got me totally confused. Has anyone been on that site? I'm very clear that Islam is what the Quran describes. For a person who is still searching, some of the arguments on the site are convincing. I WANT THE TRUTH -\

I'm very sure I am a Muslim- I believe in the God of the Qur'an- Allah. I believe that Muhammad was indeed his last prophet. What I struggle with are all these rituals prescribed by Sunnis and the defense given by the mentioned website.

Also, someone gave me Dr. Gohar Mushtaq's book "The Music made me do it". Quite frankly, I found many of the arguments there unconvincing. The person who gave me the book is a respectable sheikh in Kenya. I didn't finish reading the book, but I'd like to return it to him and give him my views lightly. Has anyone read the book and what did you think?

Someone please talk to me like I am 9 years old? I need clarity ???

    Nyoks

Yeah I've been to that site weeks ago by accident.
First, I thought it was a Quran-alone site until it says 'Hadith rejecters' at the top. yeah
In some of these articles, there are some interesting critical comments in which you can read it below. As a newbie here,I don't know a possible way to refute these pro-hadith articles. So, I'm kinda stuck about his convincing articles too. -\

        salamun alaykum,

Bukhari (junior Paul) and his student Muslim were world liars and Jew hypocrites. Their mission - sabotage Islam and insult the character of Prophet alayhissalam.

But before we know them, we have to know about Muawiya and his rule. Their own sunni scholar Sayyid Qutub (muslim brotherhood, egypt) has said Muawiya and Amr bin aas, both were hypocrites, liars and deceivers. Ask any jihadi salafi and the reply would be, "its just a mistake!" Abu huraira (senior Paul) was the palace scholar of Muawiya. During the long reign of Muawiya, fabrication of hadiths started to sabotage Islam. It was not possible during the time of the first four caliphs (ra)

Muawiya's mother was Hind (Hind chewed and spat out the liver of Hamza(ra) the uncle of Prophet) His son Yazeed's army killed the grandson of the Prophet. Later the Umayyid followers fabricated hadiths to 'save' Muawiya and Yazid. Now the salafis teach Yazid is among people of the heaven. No wonder, because they follow Ibn Taymiyya - staunch supporter of Muawiya and Umayyids.

Many problems happened during and after the death of Prophet and after it, but none of it affect Islam because Islam is completed before the death of Prophet. None of it matters, if you take Quran alone.

i dont think the 'Khawarijs' took the hadiths of Muawiya and Abu huraira, nor the Shias. The Shias have their own lie hadiths. The Ahlul hadith are the ones who follow the hadiths of Muawiya and company.

The thing is - We have Allah's book which is complete and it can bring salvation to us.
We have to follow Allah's book, not Jewish books.
