What can women do for the sake of humanity?

Salaam all,
Recently my mom asked me question that I cannot fully answer her. Her question sound like this
What can women do for the sake of humanity? If it is all about sadaqah, some women they do not work and they didn't own their own money. Their money is what is given to them by their husband and children.
If they working just like men, I still find that it is not balance because it will double her responsibility (family and work). This is what most women do nowadays.
What else they can do for humanity, instead of their own family? Are women created only to dedicate themselves to their family?
I'm hoping for answer from al quran perspective.
Noted I want to post this in "Women's Issue" but the rule restricted only for women as participant. So, I just post it here.

Women, according to the Qur'an are free, not less freer than men, therefore they can do whatever they want in the way of God.
On the other hand, women who do not work just as women who work according to the Qur'an are entitled, by virtue of aya 4.34 to get rewarded for their women dictated reproductive functions and work by the contribution of men. It is not that they do it as a charity, but it tis their God dictated duty. Women should therefore dipose of money just as men do.
Perpetuating the species is the first priority of any species, to say that women contribute nothing is a gross error, which in the Qur'an God does not commit and acknowledges the women biological work as rwardable, either by the husbands or by society in general.
All along history decent faithful men have been fair and not kept all their earnings as exclusively his, but as his part of the contribution to the family, therefore not all women have been dispossessed. In fact I have found that many people in the lower classes have been wuite fair and compannionable as women or men.
Outside that, women as said can do whatever they feel more proper to do for the sake of the wellbeing of all people. And they should, just like men should.
If there are women who are dispossessed and not regarded as fundamental contributors to society with their reproductive work and many times their social work in the whome for their families, then of course they are already making the full gift of that work, all their work, what more can be asked of them. I would say that they should claim their fair share, just the same as they contribute their fair share. That is struggle for justice and their rights. That is what the Qur'an teaches. Qur'an honour women as first rate human beings, not just as an afterthought. They should look at themselves as such and feel fully entitled to their freedom and the respect of all. It is a matter of justice.
And we all should honour all men who in spite of having all facilities for escaping their duties and responsibilities, do not do so and are loyal counterparts of women. Not all men are the same. We should not bundle them all together as this or that.
We do not have to take any garbage form them, but we also should recognize and honour those who are fair and do their best.

Salam,
We have examples in the Quran for righteous women, ranging from dedicated mothers to ruling queens. It's up to the individual and their circumstances to see what role they play. I might also add that when reading the Quran as a whole, there is definitely a theme that women are the care takers of the fabric of family, morality, and education in our society.
Allah will guide those who are looking for a path )
