    Dear All,

Some users on this site are making outrageous claims in the guise of sharing their views.
Also all the information provided by users creates more confusion on various topics.

Moderators need to find a way to stop this. All the lonely and depressed souls are posting outrageous posts to grab attention.

This site is helping me understand why rules and regulations are made in first place, if not for them people with half baked knowledge and understanding will create anarchy.

Everybody has a right to post his views, but it has to be moderated. The site cannot let users post outrageous and highly objectionable content.

If you find "objectionable content" refute it with logic arguments. That's how a debate works. I'm not for censorship and silencing ideas without refuting them based on logical arguments. You are making a plea for censorship.

      Peace

This place is for discussion, and especially discussing things which cannot be discussed in other religious fora.
If we're all supposed to have one and the same view on everything, then what's he point of a forum?

Moderators need to find a way to stop this. All the lonely and depressed souls are posting outrageous posts to grab attention.

        1. No they don't. All you need to do is to go to some other religious forum, where one easily gets banned.
        2. These opinions of yours are themselves outrageous claims in the guise of sharing your views.
        3. Who's lonely, depressed and out to just grab attention? People not conforming to your standard? What sort of claim is this??

This site is helping me understand why rules and regulations are made in first place, if not for them people with half baked knowledge and understanding will create anarchy.

        Great, but

        1. Do you see anarchy here? Are you from a background where questioning is strictly punished and repressed?
        2. Are people here characterized by possessing half baked knowledge and understanding? If so, are you then in possession of the truth and final answers, full baked?

Everybody has a right to post his views, but it has to be moderated. The site cannot let users post outrageous and highly objectionable content.

And may I ask who's going to decide what is outrageous and what is not? Should there be a conformity police here?

        Thanks for your opinion.
The purpose and style of his forum won't change.
        It's optional to visit it.

        Peace

Sometimes the most outrageous claim is the true one. Scientists have been laughed at over the centuries when they presented an idea until they could show it was actually true. Same could go for a hidden truth beneath a lot of lies in terms of God's faith (al-deen).

There is absolutely nothing wrong with making "outrageous claims" as long as those claims are backed up by strong enough evidence (496). Otherwise, everyone is entitled to their own opinion (1096), just as you are!

Why censor outrageous claims? And how do we define the term in a place like this? I don't see anyone trolling here. What seems outrageous to us maybe normal to the ones who hold onto them as facts. We don't live the same life. Also Allah supports freedom of speech and expression. He suggests what to do if we don't want to discuss something that goes against our belief

2855 Whenever they (believers) hear vain talk of ridicule, they withdraw from it decently and say, ??To us our deeds and to you yours; Peace be upon you, we do not seek to join the ignorant.

668 When you see them engaged in vain discourse about Our verses, turn away from them unless they engage in a different subject. If Satan ever makes you forget (i.e. your mind gets engrossed in their discourse,) then as soon as you recollect, no longer sit in the company of the people who confound the truth with falsehood.

We have no right to force our belief on another person

1099 If your Lord willed, all who are on earth, would have believed (by not providing free will). Would you then, compel people to become believers?
