I still have a problem with time

In the science section, I made a post about the nature of time http//www.free-minds.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2989. I talked about it a bit in Marie's forum too.
I am now thinking of the paradox between fate and free will. Has anyone thought about it and has an opinion about it? Is a part of us, the soull for example, freed from the cause/consequence law?
I d be interested to have your opinion about it. -
