Newest Testament? So What's New?

Many people claimed that Quran and/or Islam is the "Newest Testament" of Gospel and Tanakh/Torah.
And to seal the chances of any "Newer Testament", they also said that it's the "Latest and Last Testament".
The above claim usually then being used as a ground to propose that the "Quran and/or Islam is superior than the previous and also future books/religion".So what is it that is "New" in the Quran and/or Islam?

My latest studies seemed to indicate that the word Quran resembles the English word 'testament' quite well. QR in quran seems to somehow want to say proclaim foundation with a touch of qaaf as to not keep something hidden, express, reveal. The word thus could mean a solid expression. If not testament then the word at least marks expressed foundation. It fits somewhat with the recitation translation it already is, but one must not miss that it emphasizes on express and not keep hidden. Alef Nun in the word Qur'an simply marks that it is an object, abstract or physical, does not matter.
But truth is that Gospel stories of the Bible are written by the witnesses of the events that took place when Jesus was out there. They are what they are.
Quran is from the same line of prophets, so in essence it does not teach anything different as to has already been revealed. However, it is the only direct narrative of God except the revelation to Moses on stone tablets, which was only a small fraction of the contents of the so called book of Moses.
Beneath the surface the decree to Moses regarding the way of life still stands firm except that Jesus elaborated upon it once upon a time and taught that the important thing is to realize that the decree is the least thing one should do but it is better to be better than them. Gospels testify quite well to what he said, ie. an example is "but I say to you; if you hold a grudge against your brother you will be held responsible". The teachings focus is that our deeds and behavior is what we will be held responsible for, just like Quran wishes to teach. Belief by definition does not really exist but is an invention but God wants unity, that we become one with God and this is what "amen by Allah" means.
Jesus says "amen amen I say to you" and he means "be whole be whole I say to you" or literally "be of one be of one".
In essence the so-called Quran is just an expression of what was already with you at its advent. Little if anything new. Perhaps a few moral stories extra.

God created the languages, the generations and used time accurately and deliberately to send His messengers and scriptures.
GOD S main message in all the scriptures is " GOD ALONE" no idols!!!!
The Jews made the language more important then the message, the Christians did the same and the "Muslims" followed in their footsteps?
Any scripture from GOD is a message and not a book of entertainment.
What remains for us to understand is that GOD sent each message for its time.
Qoran came when the "printing press" started rolling,hence the time was right to facilitate its "preservation" for all generations?
GOD knows that HIS MESSAGE can be and will be translated to all the languages of the world and that the true believer will get His message in any place that was destined to be.
GOD would not send a message that cannot be given to everyone clear and unambiguous.
GOD would not send a message in a language that the people cannot read, speak or understand then punish them for not knowing what His message is.
There is no need to send any more scriptures! We have the " scripture" intact, and the means to study it in any language.That is the only reason I can see as a difference between the scriptures?
Apart from "the trial" of each generation according to GOD s knowledge, the changes are few and the means of application are easier. i.e way of life differs from each generation. Some rules become outdated and redundant...etc.
You will find ,if you have all the scriptures intact, that you will be able to serve GOD using any of them. GOD s system is eternal .it never changes.
Total loyalty to GOD Alone is the main message in all of them.GOD bless you.

To me it should be only "Allah's main message in all the scriptures is "ALLAH ALONE""
No need to mention idols, because if you mention no idols, that means you are saying YES to messengers, prophets and books/scriptures. Allah alone means Allah alone. Period.PS. I am sorry if I have gone off topic, my vote is already in. But I thought this is important, so highlighted.

In ways I understand you, mmkhan, Allah as a word formation indicates mere existence, no premises and no projected concrete object but simply 'being that it is'.
Because of this I imagine that G O D stands for Galaxies u(O)inverse Dimensions, somewhat substitute weakly that of Allah.

Quran confirms what happened in the past. I would actually say it more like correcting what was distorted by humans (Bible and Torah). The new thing added by it is the story of what happened after Prophet Isa and Mosses left the earth. Neither Bible nor Torah has the story of Prophet Muhammad and how Islam was reintroduced to the world.
I wouldn't worry about whether it is the final text or not, for my days on this earth are numbered. I am only a human and as a Muslim, I am to worship Allah. Quran instructs me on how to do it. This is all that matters. Quran will remain protected, but Muslims in masses are abandoning it for the sake of Mr Bukhari. Can't tell much about the future. The only thing that Allah confirms is "And the Messenger will say '?O my Lord! My people have abandoned this Qur'an!?'

One can be a good person simply by adhering to and living by the simply list of commandments revealed to Moses and this covenant taken back then. The Torah/instruction, possibly keeping in mind what Jesus taught a while after that about the commandments being the least thing one should do. For example; "Moses told you not to commit adultery, but I say to you that the only one who looks upon another woman with desire other than his own has already commited adultery in his mind".
He did not invent more rules, but he arose awareness that what God revealed to Moses is open to flexibility and it is the underlying intention of being of good behavior and deed that counts. The tablets on which the decree was revealed on was also a distinction between good and bad.
The whole point in the faith is the distinction between good and bad, and to tread in the Light. Commands are very simple and for the right person it is not hard to live in the light as long as they do something about that ego. The ultimate person could even live without scripture as long as they keep their ego in check mate. It is no a secret that people like Abraham or Noah had no scriptures to rely on.
Quran is more a resum? than something new.
