Authenticity of the Quran

How can we say for sure that the Quran is authentic, and it is a book from God? Is there any undeniable proof that it is not just a well written book by a wise and talented writer?
I watched the following video on youtube which disputes the scientific miracles in the Quran.

It's not like I lost faith after watching it or anything, but I like to put myself in other's shoes and try to understand where they're coming from. So if anyone has any good counter arguments on this I would like to hear them.

You ought not be overly sure about the linguistic translation where the "scientific miracles" are presented. Also Arabic is a language which pretty much describes what it wants to convey using the combination of letters may today seem primitive. Additionally; some people may have wished to extract a meaning from Quran in terms of a miracle just due to wishful thinking and because they feel such examples are needed.
It is a book which God intended to be "failproof", i.e. one should not be able to misinterpret it. It hence uses easy language and over clarifying sentences.
The author of the book, or composition, knew that Arabic letters have an innate meaning. The Arabic letters introducing certain chapters, 14 of them, is a testament to that since they are supposed to be read as a "word" carrying meaning despite just being one letter in some cases. Billions of people for over a thousand years have been oblivious to that fact. And numerous sentences in Quran are utterly erroneously translated to the point the whole context often becomes inaccurate. I personally find that the individual letters were left like that in a way to leave a clue on how to truly comprehend the language.
Those who criticize Quran and so-called scientific miracles use the erroneous translations/interpretations out there, so naturally they find inconsistency and that it does not add up.
As to for no "pillars" that you can see is simply a thought-provoker on the physical laws that causes things to become independent from one another with no visible supports between each other. It is not a fallacy as narration, you just have to think and appreciate how the universe is constructed. How gravity as a force wonderously is generated around the giant spheres in space and no visible pillars. The language hints at the scientific phenomena which cause this to happen and if they simply created themselves or if a human created them. The intention is to rhetorically convince its reader to reflect upon our physical realm.
Today we are near being able to create artificial gravity fields and such things, but we can still ponder upon what causes this or that to happen and who made so it occurs.
Quran was undeniably written long ago and its crowd were the contemporary people living with the prophet in the first place, so they were supposed to be able to understand it, and allegories are often adapted to this. Its commands on moral behavior and deeds is something which is active now and forever, and also the same as before its advent, however you need to cleanse it from its nonsense such as conditional polygamy, killing of disbelievers, beating or maltreatment of wives (434) and many many other things which it erroneously teaches in its present translational condition and is not supposed to be derived from the Arabic in the original composition.

Yawn! And the fact that only the lower portion of the universe has stars was discovered somewhere around 1999-2000. I remember watching the news. Not everything step of embryonic growth was known back then. Aristotle used chickens and he only "proposed" the theory. Most other growth stages mentioned in the Quran came after 1950's. Its even written in some biology books. Try reading Dr. Maurice Bucaille's book bible, quran and science. He has idea about the history of advancement of Biology.
And honestly speaking, the verses used in the videos are mentioned by Allah like common sense. Consider this
And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen.Allah is not saying here that only he knows iron came from outerspace. In the verse, he's just saying iron i a gift for the mankind. I'll do detailed analysis after some hours. Right now I am sleepy.

Quran, the Miraculous Book calls our attention to the multifarious phenomena of nature occurring around us. It keeps on diverting the attention of its reader from the day its revelation started to Prophet Muhammad till present and future generations to the search for existence of God. It picks up examples and observations we have in our close environment. Here to quote two examples for people who would know God from the phenomena of combustion and fire we kindle. The Quran reads and claims as;
?See ye the fire which ye kindle? Is it ye who grow its tree or do We grow it? (56 71-72).
Attention of the reader is diverted to the phenomena of fire burning in relation to a tree with a question that who created its tree that produce fire. What is the use of the word ?tree? Quran relates with the fire? Why not Quran choose the word ?wood? because fire burns dry wood as we observe in our daily life. What is the relation of tree with a fire to occur? Simpler, for a 7thcentury reader is that fire burns dry wood and that is our common observation too. But a very close reading of the passage would mean something different for a person who is more specialized in science and would seek the existence of God in his/ her scientific discoveries. He/she would put the question why does Quran not explain the exact process of fire if it has taken it as something that would guide mankind to the existence of God. What all science knows is neither tree nor wood but ?Oxygen? that is released by plants during photosynthesis which means ''putting together with light.'' The best known form of photosynthesis is the one carried out by higher plants and algae, and some cyanobacteria responsible for a major part of photosynthesis in oceans. All green plants on the surface of earth have green coloring chlorophyll which contains chloroplast in them. Chlorophyll absorbs the sunlight and combines carbon dioxide and water in a process called photosynthesis. The end products of this photosynthesis are carbohydrate (sugar) and oxygen (Figure Photosynthesis).

The carbohydrate or glucose which plants produce is utilized by the plants for making starch, fats, and proteins. The second product of this process is oxygen. All oxygen we have in the environment for respiration and combustion comes from this process of photosynthesis. And all this what science has found is correct. He/ she then would say ?what is God and how would I perceive His existence if I were to take this example of fire?
The Quran answers this question in a more concise manner and shows its reader to know GOD from your scientific discoveries and read the verse below;
Know that ?God is One Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith?. (3680).
More special in the verse above is the word ?green trees? which has challenged the 7th century reader to contemplate and as an answer for the 21st or later century readers. The second point that needs more attention is the Arabic word ?Min? meaning ?from? or ?out of?. What is that which the green trees produce for burning through which we kindle our fire? Is it not explaining the end process of photosynthesis in green trees with which we burn our fire? (Oxygen as one of the end product of photosynthesis is a common knowledge for today?s man but for a reader of 7th century, the phenomenon was yet to be discovered). It is up to you the men of Science and knowledge. What name you choose for it. You call it element of life, fire or "Oxygen". It is the property Almighty Allah has put in green trees for you as a sign and a lesson to understand God. If there were no green trees, there would have been no oxygen and no combustion. Nomadic people of desert had no knowledge of oxygen. All they knew was their observation of burning, either it was dry wood or a by-product of a green tree such as coal or oil. Oxygen was not known to them but they were challenged with the word ?fire? from green tree and were asked to uncover the knowledge that would lead you to the belief of existence of God after all their discoveries submit to the power of God who put such properties in green trees.
We notice here two remarkable features of the Quran. The first feature is that it expresses scientific truths that will be verified centuries later. The second feature is that the Quran expresses those truths using terms and expressions that would avoid confusing its first readers in the 7th century. The 7th century reader easily relates it to the image of fire from a tree and the 21st century scientist can easily interpret the word ?fire from green trees? as Oxygen.
Thus Quran fulfills the curiosity and mental capabilities of both 7th and succeeding century readers.
The Quran revealed has the miraculous capacity of answering questions of all ages present and future. Indeed Quran is for all ages, and all kinds of people. It is a source of knowledge. It provides hints to humanity for contemplation and knowing about the Creator.
?Allah has taught man that which he knew not? (96 5).
Oxygen is the ultimate requirement for someone in respiratory distress
Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy.
And had he not been of those who exalt Allah
He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
But We threw him onto the open shore while he was sick.
And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine(surah saaffaat 142-146)
This is about Prophet Yunus,who was swallowed by a fish.He was inside its belly (stomach) and He was sick,when He came out.
The environment of the stomach which is acidic,and the person who is totally inside this environment,who must have inhaled the acidic vapours,would be undergoing respiratory distress?.and urgently needing Oxygen supplementation.
And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine (Saaffaat 146)

These are the gourd vine leaves.Note the level-ground level which would be easily available to a person lying on GROUND.

Note the size.The larger the surface area of a green leaf.more the photosynthesis would occur,and more OXYGEN would be produced.

The fundamental characteristics that render and earn for a book the title of great book include; validity and reliability of its contents. In timeline, we are always surrounded by information and to know which source to trust is not always an easy proposition. The ability to evaluate the credibility of information is the most important skill for success. Validity and reliability of a book is the primary and the foremost concern of a critical reader and searcher for the truth. Except Grand Qur'aan, presently no book in its body has addressed such concerns of a reader. The parameters, criteria for evaluating the validity and reliability of a book is that its contents must be absolutely void of psychologically disconcerting suspicious, conjectural, whimsical, conflicting, un-certain, illusory, unsubstantiated, biased and opinionated matter. These features grant a book the credentials of infinite validity and reliability. Conversely, we can say that only such book can be credited as valid and reliable which has in its miscellany nothing but infallible truths whose veracity can stand the accuracy test in timeline. In Arabic, this fact about the book is rendered in succinct and explicit manner by the epithet
