Hello, I was reading today and I found this
1140 from quran.com
, until when Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, "Load upon the ship of each two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has preceded, and whoever has believed." But none had believed with him, except a few.When the oven overflowed can mean a lava eruption-earthquare or a movement of the tectonic plates that created a huge tsunami? Nowhere in the Quran it says "all earth was flooded" I think.
Do you know if this is contradicting the Bible?

first, God don't punish all the world because simply people of noah reject him.second it is obvious from 1140 and 2327 that people of noah ware asked to go on the ship after then tennour was erupted.

Then, when Our command comes and the chamber erupts, then you shall take in it a pair from each kind, and your family; except for those of them upon whom the word has come. And do not address Me regarding those who have done wrong, for they will be drowned.?
2328 So when you and those who are with you have embarked/istawayta on the ship, then say ?All praise is due to God who has saved us from the wicked people.?in 2327, bads people are already drowned.
in 2328 good people pray god to have been saved.in fact istawa in arabic can mean stabilized.
in the profound sea, tsunami is not dangerous at all. after the wave of tsunami passed, the ship can be said as "istawa" and people inside can be said as saved from the danger of being at coasts.Regions where tsunami can occurs are not numerous.

i think there is also a bad understanding of this.
from each couple take two. So, for example, for sheeps couples, Noah had to take 2 X 2=4 sheeps.the reason for this is probably to be sure to able to reconstitute stocks.
i don't think there was wolves, lions, and elephants in the ark.there was just what people saved needed to reinitialize farming/breeding.
it is logical that in a first step, people of noah lived from fishing.
with all the saved believers, 4 sheeps, cows... are not sufficient to nourish every one.no need to the ark to be a giant ship for all species.

Spiritual harmony upon you noshirk,
It would be highly illogical that Noah brought aboard samples of every known species or that ark would have needed a massive size or crew to be able to handle. Not to mention the wild predator animals running amok in there killing other prey animals.
Just as you say, Noah brought aboard cattle and perhaps agricultural equipment and stuff and no more except his family and any followers he may have had.

It seems that water were coming from every parts.i still however think that there was a tsunami. There is clear allusion about a tennour.
