I have a question and i have thinked about this for a while...
do you have to go to a masjid to marry ? or can you do it with telephone call? it is two witnesses yes?
Now for my real question, iif someone wants to marry a convert, their parents musnt know about the marriage yes? but how about someone whos a muslim and the parents are also muslims, do they have to know aswell?
so by this q im meaning, is it enough if a couple wants to marry eachother only GOD and they themselves know it and the imam + the two witnesses, whether convert or not.

Salam, you can marry anywhere, you need two witnesses and someone to conduct the ceremony. It doesn't necessarily have to be conducted by an imam, just someone with "knowledge" ie someone respectable in the areas of marriage. Marriage is between two people not their parents so acknowledgement isn't required but if one set of parents are aware and are negative about it then it would be dishonest to marry in secret. Ideally you would let the parents know. It's up to them whether they accept it or not, it isn't a requirement to marry.
