Hello. I am new here.

Assalam Alaikum. I have been reading these forums for a while now and today I have registered.
I am 17 years old. I use to follow the Sunnah. But after doing some research, I now follow the Quran only and this has made me into a better person.
There are many things which annoy me about tradional Muslims. I believe that Islam would be more respected if Muslims followed only the Quran instead of man made laws.
All praise goes to God as it is God's guidance which has help me in this life.
I hope to post on here more often.

I am glad you are here. You will definitely grow here. Don't be afraid to use your mind as you have so far. God has graced you to learn that you only need to follow the Koran to be guided to God's path. Check out www.progod.org you will benefit from this site greatly.

Peace and a warm welcome Antar,
I too was a Sunni, and also at the age of 17 I read the Quran and realised that there is a lot of tradition in the Sunni belief system. I thank GOD for guiding me to a better system and GW we shall all learn and progress together to make this world a better place and also to set an example for future generations to come and also other people around us.
I look forward to sharing ideas and also learning more about you.
