How should we understand the Salaat that God sends down on the prophet?

You will notice that the phrase "sallimou tasliman" appears there again.
FOR GOD'S SAKE, IT DOES NOT MEAN "SALUTE HIM WITH THE BEST OF SALUTATION".
there is a difference between "Salam" and "Tasleem".
God says "Sallou Alayhi wa sallimou tasleeman"NOT "Sallimou salaman "
I think the meaning that over one billion muslims fail to understand becomes clear
"God and his angels "yousallon" on the prophet ( meaning they are allways in contact with him, and supporting him ). O you who believe , support him in turn, and yield completely to what he is telling you ( meaning you should firmly believe - (tasliman) - that he is indeed sent forth from God. "
It does not mean "salute" him.
Do you now see the absurdity of muslims who lift up their hands in prayer and say "Allahoumma salli wa sallim ala sayyidouna Muhamad" ?
It's completely meaningless.
How is it possible that God and his angels "yield" to the prophet?
It beats the Hell out of me. ??

Very good that u posted this.
I guess that there still people even here who still use this phrase.
I mean how can someone salute someone who is dead!?
But maybe the sunnis don't want to realize that Muhammad is dead.
