Has this subject ever been discussed on free-minds? I searched for a discussion and did not find one. Is there anyone who adequately understands the Quranic laws for inheritance and how to apply it? In my mind, it goes children, parents, siblings, and then spouses( if the deceased did not leave a will). I find it hard to believe that parents and siblings should get money before the spouse, so how does it all work? This is a hotly debated subject on faithfreedom and would be great to resolve.

Yes, this subject is a very interesting one. I would like to know if the rules given in quran are to be applied in any case, or rather in the case one did not leave a will.

      Peace LK
