what's the punishment of rape?

Could these verses be pointing out a punishment for men who rape?

3359 O Prophet! Tell your wives, your daughters, and women of the believers that they should draw their outer garments over their person. This is easy and proper, so that they may be recognized and not bothered. Allah is Absolver of imperfections, Merciful.

3360 Thus it is. If the hypocrites and they in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the City do not cease, We indeed give you the authoritative mastery over them. Then they will be your neighbors no more than a short while.

3361 Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain one and all.

3362 That was the Way of Allah among those who lived before. And never will you find any change in Allah?s Way.

It is telling the women frist to dress modestly and even after that if some hypocrite with disease in thier hearts is not ceasing by their means, then slain them...?

Hi,

Rape, or any action towards another human being, and against his/her own will, is the same as enslaving another human being. It does not matter whether it is physical or mental slavery, or both.

If we further look at the reason behind ?punishment? for any wrongdoing towards anyone, or anything, the main objective is always to correct a wrongdoing, or if this is not possible, then to protect the community from repetitions and to compensate the offended party for the wrongdoing that has been done.

In the case of rape, this is an act that sorts under the social law of the community, for which the inhabitants in the community are responsible to set up.
In many communities, this kind of act is not punished according to the crime. The victim is often punished harder than the offender, or the victim is the only one punished.

First of all, the act can not be undone, next step is to protect the community from reoccurrences and to compensate the victim.
So, we have two steps to handle

How to protect the community from reoccurrences?
How to compensate the victim(s)?

To prevent reoccurrences, the offender has to be isolated from other people, and/or controlled in such a way, that his ability to rape is hindered.

Suggestions?

How to compensate for an act like this?

There are a few things to consider
The act may have aftermath in the form of physical-, as well as mental, illness, or in the form of pregnancy.

according to the koran oppression is worse than murder .
now, rape is oppression PLUS sexual abuse .

oppression is worse than murder ,so the punishment must also be severe and strict .

now , what exactly should be the punishment ? not sure .

Rape must be some kind of fornication or fahsha.
