    Peace

Verily those who disbelieve and hinder others from the path of Allah and from the Sacred Mosque which We have appointed for mankind, equal in respect thereunto are the dweller therein and the stranger. And whosoever will seek profanity therein wrongfully, We shall make him taste of a torment afflictive 2225

    Is the above translation correct?

And whoever will seek profanity therein wrongfully (Daryabadi)
and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing (Abdullah Yusuf ali)
and whoever intends therein of deviation or wrongdoing (Sahih international)
and whosoever seeketh wrongful partiality therein (Pickthall)
and whoever shall incline therein to wrong unjustly (Habib Shakir)

    All translations are distorted. HOW?

    My translation

And whosoever seeks in it by means of refuge for wrong doing

    http//snag.gy/vrdiQ.jpg http//snag.gy/RWO8g.jpg

    http//snag.gy/S3s4i.jpg

Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone , nor will I find in other than Him a place of refuge. (72 22)

And recite, , what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no changer of His words, and never will you find in other than Him a place of refuge. (18 27)

In the above verse it is not lahad but BI L haadin

    http//snag.gy/vDRn3.jpg

The translators neglected the preposition BI (with/by/for) in their translation.

Similarly in the verse there is BI zulmin and not Zulmin

and (prefixed by the preposition BI)

verse 11117 6131 (BI ZULMIN FOR WRONG DOING) and verse 682 (BI ZULMIN WITH WRONG DOING)

But verse 2225 it is(WRONG DOING) the preposition (with/by/for) is omitted from the translation.

You can?t trust the traditional translators because they are validating through the translation of the Quran the false stories, claims, history that appears in the NONSENSE books of HADITH.

With these two prepositions and the correct meaning of LAHAADA we get a message that is contrary to what was given by the sectarians.

Ayn-Kaf-Fa = to arrange, set a thing in order, he kept or clave to it constantly and perseveringly, continue intently, they went round something, advance/approach it, withheld/detain/confined, to seclude oneself, remain/stay/dwell. (Lanes lexicon)

Verily those who disbelieve and hinder others from the path of Allah and from the Sacred Mosque which We have appointed for MANKIND, equal in respect thereunto are the dweller therein and the stranger. And whosoever seeks by means of refuge (in AMAH) (with the intention) for wrong doing, We shall make him taste of a torment afflictive. 2225

AMAH is a place where people dwell, where outside people can come AND DWELL and they are equal with the dwellers in terms of respect/status, it is a place of refuge also. But if anyone by means of refuge seeks wrongdoing in the AMAH then Allah will make him taste a torment afflictive.

The AMAH is appointed for mankind (all caste and religion) wherein the dweller and the stranger/visitor/outsider are equal.

Today's mankind does not include NON MUSLIMS

The translators have translated the word as VIOLATE / PROFANE / DEVIATION / PARTIALITY / INCLINE

Now what is the violation/incline/deviation/profane and wrong doing in AMAH?

Can anyone deviate (from what) in the AMAH? Can anyone violate (what) in AMAH? Can anyone incline (to what) in AMAH?

Can anyone do wrong in AMAH of Mecca?

Can any of the meanings of ZALAMA be executed in the present AMAH in MECCA (Saudi Arabia)?

It is a clear indication that this verse is not speaking of a place called AMAH in Mecca where only prayers are offered, but it is an INVIOLABE PLACE OF SUBMISSION where ZALAMA is not tolerated and those who seek / desire / wish by means of REFUGE for ZALAMA then Allah will taste them a painful punishment.

The present AMAH in Mecca has no dwellers, no refugees and except praying nothing is done nor cane be done in AMAH.

    More verses to follow

Deleted post, misread the OP. Well this place of refuge/sanctuary is Jerusalem. Jerusalem has historically always been such a place. The word Jerusalem literally means place of security/peace.

          Peace

              Peace hicham9,

So does you quoting yourself means you accept Masjid Al Haram is temple mount or not?

                SLM @Rlz

In my book, it is very probable that Temple Mount received/accommodated G-D's envoy &c. for a certain period of time
That's all I can say for now.
