WHAT IS THE STRAIGHT PATH?6- Al-An'am
151-Say Come, I will recite unto you that which your Lord hath made a sacred duty for you THAT YOU ASCRIBE NO THING AS PARTNER UNTO HIM and THAT YOU SHALL BE GOOD TO YOUR PARENTS, and THAT YOU SLAY NOT YOUR CHILDREN BECAUSE OF POVERTY--We provide for you and for them--and AVOID SIN IN FORM AND SPIRIT. And THAT YOU SLAY NOT THE LIFE WHICH ALLAH HATH MADE SACRED, except for a just cause. This He has commanded you, in order that you may learn wisdom
152-AND APPROACH NOT THE WEALTH OF THE ORPHAN EXCEPT WITH THAT WHICH IS BETTER; till he reach maturity. GIVE FULL MEASURE and FULL WEIGHT, in JUSTICE. We task not any soul beyond its scope. AND BE FAIR WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR VERDICT EVEN IF IT IS AGAINST YOUR OWN RELATIVES; and FULFIL THE COVENANT OF ALLAH. This He commands you that you may take heed.
153-And (He commands you, saying) THIS IS MY STRAIGHT PATH, SO FOLLOW IT Follow not other ways, for if you do, they will lead you away from His path this He commands you that you may be righteous. -

what I have quoted is the straight path that Allah has defined in quran for us to follow.
I think Quran is not about rituals, and nor does the rituals play any positive role in the making of a good society. Infact they divide people and are the root cause of many problems.
So in my opinion these are the commandment that needs to be preferred over all ritualsTHAT YOU ASCRIBE NO THING AS PARTNER UNTO HIM
THAT YOU SHALL BE GOOD TO YOUR PARENTS
THAT YOU SLAY NOT YOUR CHILDREN BECAUSE OF POVERTY
AVOID SIN IN FORM AND SPIRIT
THAT YOU SLAY NOT THE LIFE WHICH ALLAH HATH MADE SACRED

u have well quoted the verses,but rituals do have importance,they reflect the picture of the sirat mustaqeem,like gathering of salat,an imam, and jamat doing sajda to quran recitation,the decipline,social interaction,etc infact alone salat is the is the reflection of the whole system to be adopted by whole ummat.and allah has mad it obligatory for the believers to perform salat gathering on prescribed timings mentioned in quran.thats my viewpoint,hope to share with u in fufture.
