i read in the Quran that God sent one of his angels to clean Mohammed's heart 3 times so he wont become bad.

can someone verify this for me please?

This is not in the quran, it seems to be a hadith.

Nothing more than superstition. Notice the "three times" hint here which smacks of hadith because according to hadithees' tradition, the Prophet did things in uneven numbers. I can see why they chose "three" times.
