I hope mods pay attention to this and delete your posts. I thinks all forums and such sites should have an option to delete one's own posts. I sometimes write something somewhere and later I want to delete it because I feel it's too personal, or silly and so, but many times they don't have an option. Then there are like yahoo question answers where I had posted few questions in my teenage years, and now I badly want to delete them but stupid yahoo doesn't have any option.
I think it's everyone's right to delete what they post after all its their own posts.
Maybe it would help your ego to not care as much about it, maybe some good can be derived from these unfortunate circumstances.
Like who cares what you wrote at whatever age on Yahoo answers?

I read your post about arguing with members. Would you like to wrangle with me a bit before your posts are deleted or you are executed by the state for high treason?
Maybe one last fight before you go? I find your move after so many posts to be a bit extreme, cutting off from everyone and all these social networks. If there is anything of value from all these places and people it is the learning value, the value of learning through quarrels and whatever else even. I'm always picking up things and adapting and I think it is good you used to take it all seriously even, despite the intentions of posters.
Otherwise, could you reminisce a bit about your old battles, what you were saying and what the others were saying?
I've battled much on websites, on Free Minds, most people seemed to object to my saying that God is evil or responsible for all evil ultimately and that there is no real free will, both according to scriptures but also according to many scientists as well these days.

I am a humanist. I am an agnostic theist (or a deist).
When I wrote my personal info, I just finished high school. I was waiting for final exam results. I thought that I either would study abroad (in a truly secular country like Sweden) or study in a private college / uni (where most of the students are either secularists or non Muslims who do not give a sh1t about what people want to believe or disbelieve). So I was not frightened by the personal info that I had written at that time. BUT NOW I am in a government uni. Islam plays a huge part in this uni even though female students with Islam as their religion in documents have the option to either wear hijabs or not. I do not feel safe here. In my country Muslims (Sunnis) who either want to follow different versions of Islam or leave Islam will be arrested by moronic Islamic authority. They are dumb superstitious morons who are offended by women having or wanting to have the same rights as men and unrelated women and men hugging.
By the way FreedomStands, I hope you know that Islam that this forum represents is not mainstream Islam. I can say as a humanist that this version of Islam is the loveliest scripture-based faith.Huruf,

Why do you have to be in such university? Can't you transfer to somewhere else or go to another country? I can understand how you must feel. It's extremely annoying when others try to control you. I hope the situation improves for you.

This forum is not even popular, so why worry diamantinehoneybunch. Besides if they discover you, you can just tell them you have reverted back to sunnism. And they 'll definitely let you go.
That being said, i find it disturbing that you still have to keep an alter ego even in university. For me, i have to act like sunni at home during holidays(Pls don't ask me why, i have explained over and over, all my words fell on deaf ears) but once i return back to school, i switch back to Qur'an alone mode.

Yeah I know this thread might have myself banned from the forum. But really? I have PMed 3 of the mods / admins to delete my posts but they just ignored.
I was immature when I wrote those personal info. But now I know how silly they are. But the reason I want those posts to be deleted is not because they are silly but because MY LIFE WOULD BE IN DANGER if the people at my uni, my family and "friends" read them especially if they know my views on Islam and other religions that I have written here.You want me to suffer dear admins? Why? Is it because I said I did not believe in religions etc? I deserve punishment because of this? I deserve to live being hated by people around me?

Imagine if people from my country read what diamantinehoneybunch wrote and they know who diamantinehoneybunch personally. They would make me as a hot topic. I would live in fear. Seeking asylum procedure is difficult.
Why would they know who you are regardless of the probability of a hypothetical extreme event occurring. Is it because of the username? We can change that. Is is because of personal information in posts? We can change that. Send me the list of posts containing personal information and I will edit them and/or change the username if that too is somehow an issue. We'll discuss which option inclusive of the other account is better suited to your situation or what you hope to achieve or not in regards to this forum.I'm locking this thread now because it's served its purpose. In the future, you can send multiple pm's to multiple mods for issues you have and perhaps a gentle pm reminder if they haven't risen to the occasion in what you may consider a timely fashion especially since we aren't all active all the time. In short, keep these sorts of issues to PM and with the relevant mods. Thanks.
