The average sunni Idea is to reduce the time by using Meccan time, Is there anything Quranic concerning this?
What about parts of the world where the night lasts for 6 months?

ThanksI fast for a long time too because the sun set is pretty late here.
I think one can set it to a standard time and simply fast for that period for 28 or 30 days. That is my fatwa, or fartwa.
