Time To Change Your Paradigm

When you look up in the sky, does the moon seem very big to you? Why do you think it is far away and big if you do? What if it is just as tiny as it looks or only slightly larger? What if the moon is actually just in your mind, so that to get to the moon you have to actually get behind your eyes or something.
Peace brother,
I didn't say moon looks very big to me, I can swear!
Yes it could be a little larger that what I see from my naked eye.
Ahh I got it. You got confused with the image of moon I posted. That was a zoomed image taken with telephoto zoom lens. -
I tend to agree with brother Nabster about jinns.
For me, it doesn't seem to fit with the Qur'an if I perceive jinn as human.
Based on reading various things and also my "encounter" (though I never saw jinns myself - I prefer not - not in this life), I inclined to the opinion that jinns are other creatures different from humans, and not all humans have the ability to see them.
Peace JL,
To me humans and jinns are two different creations because of 5156.
But I do respect other's views because they are also honest in their researches. And I expect my Lord will guide them to the right if they are wrong or He will guide us to the right if we are wrong.May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

Nice photos, brother Khan. Thank you for sharing.
Would you kindly check this out Sun, Moon, Stars, and Planets
Perhaps you could find something useful for your understanding.
Salaam.
Salaam Java,
You are very welcome.
Thanks for the link, I will check it out. -
It's Truth vs. lie (again).
Peace brother,
Oh that was horrible. How these people/mullas play in the name of Allah brickwall
When that mulla was talking to camera, she was sitting normal and then started playing when he starts reciting.
These people worships jinns and the Book or its aayaat beside Allah. Ma'aazAllah!May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

Are you sure in the development of such technologies they aren't some great deception being put up?

Peace @FS, @JL, all
the ad hominem get commensurate to the disagreements in forums from troll like entities, lol! and I have to confess, I sometimes indulge too
Not accepting Jinns as how they are, as described by Quran - which for me is more than belief, but a book of facts where the Creator lets us into some insights and realisations about the unseen we cannot measure or observe for ourselves due to our limitations - puts us in a much vulnerable state as regards to Satan and demons.
The power they have is that they can see us and interact with us from whence we cannot see or perceive them, unless Allah wishes otherwise, as He did for Solomon, and some Prophets/Messengers.
Now the issue of Angels should be settled, as it clearly states it as an article of Faith to believe and accept they exist. (even then there are some here who use some semantic and linguistic contortions to deny their existence!)
For Jinns there are just descriptions, and warnings against the devils amongst them.
I will not repeat again the arguments to prove that, there is no point as there is a dogmatism within those who wish to believe it their way along a narrative they settled in that it is too hard to shake, and to be honest, I don't care.
I had discussions with Ayman who believe in his fantasy theory with not much success, nor useful to me in gains. This is similar to other subjects such as code 19.
If you have an enemy you cannot see, that has more capabilities from you from a position where he is invisible to you, can navigate at much higher speeds and through more mediums than you can, then you are already at a clear disadvantage, now if you add that you decide it doesn't also exist, you are asking to be manipulated without even you perceiving it, a very dangerous position to be in.
Now Allah says Angels through His Grace and Him Himself do protect against all evils, inclusive of the evils of the unseen, and that not putting oneself in this protection, through submission and allegiance to Allah makes one vulnerable, and this is what is happening in the world before us.
No matter what I write, if you are hypnotised into a narrative, you will only lash out if challenged, with your own set of misconceptions, as Allah says, these are just labels you have named for yourselves, trying to convince others is just assuaging your own prejudice and projecting it onto others.

That jinn is anything other than worldliness is misconception in itself -)

This ain't about "patience" @Java!
It's Truth vs. lie (again).
I'm not sure if those people in the video are honest. I think among many stories/news about jinns, there could be fake stories, and there could be real stories.
It's not youtube video which made me likely to believe that jinns are creatures.
And also, I think it's not that easy to 'catch' the jinns. I think people who think that they can control/overpower (or take the advantage of) the jinn/s are actually being fooled by the jinn/s, except the righteous people who by Allah's permission can interact (or even team up) with them, like prophet Sulaiman.
I peacefully leave the choice on you, whether you regard jinn as creature or not.
Peace.

Peace bro,
Yes at the moment I am sure that what I was seeing with my naked eye is captured by the camera.

Peace JL,

I suppose that verse is quite clear. If the Qur'an does not inform about the jinns, perhaps I'm very skeptical about that.
Thanks for the link, I will check it out.
You're welcome, please do.
Peace.

Sorry my sister, but your current understanding of QA. is inherited from Sunnism!
Ie. subjectively acquired (from a false authority).I peacefully leave the choice on you, whether you regard jinn as creature or not.
I never said that are not creatures!
Again, in the Quran, and are epithets.
One class avoids notice/attention/disclosure ... The later strives for it.Genies don't exist ... Charlatans do.
Be sound.

I think not all that said by sunnis is always wrong, my brother.
Such as,
if they said that Allah is the Creator - I agree,
if they said that Allah prohibits zina - I agree,
if they said that there will be afterlife - I agree.
However, it is not them (sunnis) who determine the understanding of the jinn for me.
ALLAH is my Teacher, and if HE guides me to the belief that jinns are not humans, then that's what I want to follow, inshaALLAH.
I never said that are not creatures!
Okay, I'm sorry,
I peacefully leave the choice on you, whether you regard jinn as human or not.
Peace.

True, but they are wrong on this one (and on many maany maaaany more concepts...)!
if they said that Allah is the Creator - I agree,
if they said that Allah prohibits zina - I agree,
if they said that there will be afterlife - I agree.Such teachings (when understood correctly) don't belong to Sunnism, but to G-D!
Genies on the other hand are non-quranic conceptions!
Ie., man-made fiction! An ancient myth, adopted and promoted by mohammedans, to be precise. However, it is not them (sunnis) who determine the understanding of the jinn for me.
ALLAH is my Teacher, and if HE guides me to the belief that jinns are not humans, then that's what I want to follow, inshaALLAH.Prove it.
I peacefully leave the choice on you, whether you regard jinn as human or not.
You're entitled to your opinions, as I am, my sister.
Facts, however, are not opinions, but serve as evidence to support opinions.SLM
