God or Allah. Wich is correct in English

Thanks for reply
I tried to follow your links.
I think that the essence is that allah might come from the Hebrew Elohim... (or there is more to it?)
Whom having the meaning of mighty power or so. Or I am who I am.But I dont see that that should favor it from God. God also have a meaning as good or someone being made sacrifice to.
But do I get you right if you mean there is a difference in the meaning of Allah in Arabic and God in English. So Allah and God an?t he same?
I just think its strange that you can go back to a words origin and then say one is better than the other. When in my opinion they have the very same meaning?
Another question that come to my mind is Why not use Elohim then?
I can understand that Isa should be used instead of Jesus since Jesus never was his name.
But here we are not talking about a name.PS
Im glad for your reply cause it made me a little bit more enligheted about why people prefer Allah. But as you see I?m not really convinced. Thanks again and God bless.

Freedomstands,
Well, the Holy Spirit showed itself to me. It was what I had always dreamed of.
God is okay as address for God, based on word definition.
Allah has a different implication and Rabb is the personal address for God in Arabic Quran.

Elohim is just the plural form of All-ah such as Alla-hem.
If you refer to singular you say Eloh in the ancient Aramaic language root as well.
It means 'such who is' (i.e. third person). Allohem means 'such who are' instead in plural third person.
Sorry I provided what you were not requesting. I see that the true account is worth being displayed as well.

When did the Holy Spirit thing happen and how do you know it was the Holy Spirit and not something else?

Yes.
Please feel free to discard what I said, if it does not resonate with you.
May the infinite creator bless you.

I have white pigeons trying to get into my kitchen everytime I leave the balcony door open. Do you think I have been chasing the holy ghost out of my kitchen? &
If so, good thing I didn't use my BB gun because I considered using it.

More on topic I did not vote on this poll since there is no option to vote "The God".
The definite article is important and carries a lot of significance. I see no point in leaving it out.

Peace runninglikezebras, no need for the definite article with God in English,
God alone without the "The" suffices.peace

Couldn't disagree more.
al ilh
what is that al you think?
This is pretty fundamental stuff, no? It is not some God, any God. It is the God.

Ylijumala (Overgod/Ultimate God)Not one of those is the God I submit to except the first. I submit to "The one God". al-ilhah, Ilh meaning God. There is no ilh but al-Lh. Read There is no God but The God.
