Jerusalem qiblah

Peace
I have recently read the natural republic and it presents the argument that Jerusalem is the site of the sacred masjid and the qiblah I think from the evidence presented this is a plausible explanation so I would welcome any relevant topics evidence etc for and against this view.

Wherever you turn is the face of Allah,
Really, I mean no disrespecto for people worried or busy about the qibla, who am I for that, but it sort of makes it little serious for me worrying about which is the "place" as if there were places that have greater right to something than others.
?Do places have a right or have rights?
Or is it that if we face this or that way we would derive benefits fo any kind?

As Muslims we are instructed to face the qiblah and turn our face towards it in salat. As such it is important to do or best to comply to God's instructions. That is what I intend to do if possible
- Muslims are not instructed in the "qiblah" verses
- salat is never mentioned in those verses
Quite simply your view is a made-up interpretation, albeit the most common interpretation of those verses.

Interesting point I will have to look into it. I have read some of your article however I disagree that AMAH is not a physical place because in my understanding within the context of the Quran it seems clear that it is a physical place. However I will God willing reread your article to gain some clarity

You can read my view here
http//mypercept.co.uk/articles/meaning-masjid-al-haram-Quran.htmlThanks Wakas,
I amreading the article, little by little (I ambeing overtaken by the modern disease of not making long readings at a time) and, as it happens when you read on something suddelnly something wlse hits you. May be this is ot the plae, but I will oint it out.
It is this aya
178 Perhaps your Lord will have mercy on you**, and if you revert then so will We. And We made Hell a gathering place for the rejecters/concealers/ungrateful.
I have highlighted in red what struck me. Of course what hell (jahannam) is has been discussed by everubody mny times, here it says it has been made a gathering place (HaSiir). This H -S-r root seems to give the idea of something or somebody encircled, enclosed, or something gathered together in a restricted area. At this I had a vision, which seems quite consistent that hell in fact is where all the worst will be with each other.
We have an aya in the Qur?an where it says that the evil (can0t remember whether it says de kind of evil or what it is) will be crucified and killed or something of the kind, but it is nto at all an order to anybody to do such a thing to anybody else but rather a statement of fact that "what goes around comes around". So who punishes the evil? it seems that it is other evil ones who do the punishing, so what is that hell depicted in this aya? I guess it is that frying together of the most evil in their own juice, without any sheep to unleash their evilness onn them, they will be all wolfs all by themselves. They will taste their own medicine all right.
I trust God's Mercy and that most of us will be spared such an accursed "place".
I suspect I have said nothing new. It would be a miracle if I had, but still I have areciated the reminder.
Salaam
