QUESTION: QIBLAH / MASJID AL HARAAM
-
Peace all
I NEED YOUR ANSWERS FOR THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS
Truly did Allah fulfil the vision for His Apostle YOU SHALL ENTER the Sacred Mosque IF ALLAH WILLS with minds secure heads shaved hair cut short and without fear. For He knew what ye knew not and He granted besides this a speedy victory. 4827
According to the above verse the prophet either ENTERED or WILL ENTER the MASJID AL HARAM (the surrounding area of the KAABA) if Allah wills.
(REMEMBER THERE WAS NO SUCH MOSQUE IN MECCA)
Before the prophethood the prophet stayed in MECCA for FORTY years and it is UNBELIEVABLE that he DID NOT ENTER the open area around KAABA called MASJID AL HARAM.
According to the above verse, it is only after twenty one / two years of prophethood, the prophet did enter the MASJID AL HARAM.
But according to BUKHARI, the prophet not ONLY entered the MASJID AL HARAM but prayed facing the KAABA, before he completed the 13 years of his prophethood in MECCA
Bukhari 1241 Abdulla bin Masud
ONCE THE PROPHET WAS OFFERING PRAYERS AT THE KAABA. Abu Jahl was sitting with some of his companions. One of them said to the others, "Who amongst you will bring the abdominal contents (intestines, etc.) of a camel of Bani so and so and put it on the back of Muhammad, when he prostrates?" The most unfortunate of them got up and brought it. He waited till the Prophet prostrated and then placed it on his back between his shoulders. I was watching but could not do any thing. I wish I had some people with me to hold out against them. They started laughing and falling on one another. Allah's Apostle was in prostration and he did not lift his head up till Fatima (Prophet's daughter) came and threw that (camel's abdominal contents) away from his back. He raised his head and said thrice, "O Allah! Punish Quraish." So it was hard for Abu Jahl and his companions when the Prophet invoked Allah against them as they had a conviction that the prayers and invocations were accepted in this city (Mecca). The Prophet said, "O Allah! Punish Abu Jahl, 'Utba bin Rabi'a, Shaiba bin Rabi'a, Al-Walid bin 'Utba, Umaiya bin Khalaf, and 'Uqba bin Al Mu'it (and he mentioned the seventh whose name I cannot recall). By Allah in Whose Hands my life is, I saw the dead bodies of those persons who were counted by Allah's Apostle in the Qalib (one of the wells) of Badr.
(WAS FATIMA STAYING SO CLOSE BY THE KAABA?)
(SURPRISING, PROPHET WAS PRAYING ALONE)
(WHERE WERE THE FEW SAHABAS WHO FOLLOWED THE PROPHET?)
(WHY DID THEY NOT TURN UP FOR PRAYERS?)QUESTION WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH? ALLAH OR BUKHARI?
WHICH IS THE QIBLAH (MASJID AL HARAM or KAABA)
We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the MASJID AL HARAM; wherever ye are turn your faces in that direction. The people of the book know well that that is the truth from their Lord nor is Allah unmindful of what they do. 2144
According to the Quran the QIBLAH is MASJID AL HARAM (although there is no command to face the QIBLAH in PRAYERS)
But according to BUKHARI the QIBLAH is KAABA
Bukhari 1391 Ibn Abbas
When the Prophet ENTERED THE KAABA, he invoked Allah in each and every side of it and did not pray till he came out of it, and offered a two-Rak'at prayer facing the KAABA and said, "THIS IS THE QIBLAH."
HOW DID THE PEOPLE OF MADINA KNOW THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF THE KAABA?
Bukhari 139 Al-Bara bin Azib
When the Prophet came to Medina, he stayed first with his grandfathers or maternal uncles from Ansar. He offered his prayers facing Baitul-Maqdis (Jerusalem) for sixteen or seventeen months, but he wished that he could pray facing the Ka'ba (at Mecca). The first prayer which he offered facing the Ka'ba was the 'Asr prayer in the company of some people. Then one of those who had offered that prayer with him came out and passed by some people in a mosque who were bowing during their prayers (facing Jerusalem). He said addressing them, "By Allah, I testify that I have prayed with Allah's Apostle facing Mecca (Ka'ba).' Hearing that, those people changed their direction towards the Ka'ba immediately. Jews and the people of the scriptures used to be pleased to see the Prophet facing Jerusalem in prayers but when he changed his direction towards the Ka'ba, during the prayers, they disapproved of it.
Al-Bara' added, "Before we changed our direction towards the Ka'ba (Mecca) in prayers, some Muslims had died or had been killed and we did not know what to say about them (regarding their prayers.) Allah then revealed And Allah would never make your faith (prayers) to be lost (i.e. the prayers of those Muslims were valid).' " (2143).
WHICH QIBLAH THE PROPHET FACED WHILE PRAYING IN THE KAABA
Bukhari 1390 Mujahid AND 1457 / 484 Nafi AND 1483 Ibn Umar
Someone came to Ibn 'Umar and said, "Here is Allah's Apostle entering the Ka'ba." Ibn 'Umar said, "I went there but the Prophet had come out of the Ka'ba and I found Bilal standing between its two doors. I asked Bilal, DID THE PROPHET PRAY IN THE KAABA?' Bilal replied, YES, HE PRAYED two Rakat between the two pillars, which are to your left ON ENTERING THE KAABA. Then Allah's Apostle came out and offered a two-Rak'at prayer FACING THE KAABA.' "WHEN WAS THE VERSE OF THE NEW QIBLAH REVEALED / AND WHICH PRAYER WAS OFFERED FIRST?
BUKHARI 1397 Abdullah bin Umar
While the people were offering the FAJR PRAYER prayer at Quba (near Medina), someone came to them and said "It has been REVEALED to Allah's Apostle TONIGHT, and he has been ordered to pray facing the Ka'ba." So turn your faces to the Ka'ba. Those people were facing Sham (Jerusalem) so they turned their faces towards Ka'ba (at Mecca).(VERSE REVEALED AT NIGHT AND THE FIRST PRAYER OFFERED WHILE FACING THE NEW QIBLAH WAS THE FAJR PRAYER)
BUKHARI 139 Bara bin Azib
When the Prophet came to Medina, he stayed first with his grandfathers or maternal uncles from Ansar. He offered his prayers facing Baitul-Maqdis (Jerusalem) for sixteen or seventeen months, but he wished that he could pray facing the Ka'ba (at Mecca). QURAN
We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque; wherever ye are turn your faces in that direction. The people of the book know well that that is the truth from their Lord nor is Allah unmindful of what they do. 2144BUKHARI
Bukhari 1392 Bara bin Azib
Allah's Apostle prayed facing Baitul-Maqdis for sixteen or seventeen months but he loved to face the Ka'ba (at Mecca) so Allah revealed "Verily, We have seen the turning of your face to the heaven!" (2144) So the Prophet faced the Ka'ba and the fools amongst the people namely "the Jews" said, "What has turned them from their Qibla (Baitul-Maqdis) which they formerly observed"" (Allah revealed) "Say 'To Allah belongs the East and the West. He guides whom he will to a straight path'." (2142) A man prayed with the Prophet (facing the Ka'ba) and went out. He saw some of the Ansar praying the 'Asr prayer with their faces towards Baitul-Maqdis, he said, "I bear witness that I prayed with Allah's Apostle facing the Ka'ba." So all the people turned their faces towards the Ka'ba.QURAN = face MASJID AL HARAM
BUKHARI = face KAABAAccording to the traditional Muslims MASJID AL HARAM = KAABA= BAYT= BAYT AL HARAM.
The CHRISTIANS have TRI -NITY but we MUSLIMS have QUADRA- NITY
THE QIBLAH (MASJID AL HARAM) IS TO BE FOLLOWED
Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the signs (together) they would not FOLLOW thy QIBLAH (MASJID AL HARAM); neither art thou to be a FOLLOWER OF THEIR QIBLAH; nor indeed will they FOLLOW EACH OTHER'S QIBLAH. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee wert to follow their (vain) desires then wert thou indeed (clearly) in the wrong. 2145
Is there any SUNNI, who can explain me, HOW TO FOLLOW THE MASJID AL HARAM?
Thanks
