I think it is worth re-examining this word Naar-Fire in the Quran especially as it relates to what is to come
Moses saw a fire and someone spoke in the name of from the fire Quran 277-9

In the biblical the account is rather humoristic, with a foot visible from God etc.
But, the bible has been altered through times. From retellings before being written down probably.
Moses also goes up on a mountain, to "see" God.
However what they gazed at was the universe. And what happens when you think of the infinite universe? One becomes godconscious. So that is probably what the Bible is trying to tell you. Not that they "saw" God, but that they experienced godconsciousness.
One could reflect on if this was the original purpose of the pyramids aswell.
Same thing with the fire. If one in an inspired moment, realizes the infinte variation in the flames, one becomes godconscious.And the morality is, it doesn`t help to be big as a mountain on any meeting with God, and judgement day. One is "killed"/destroyed/experiences egodeath, and one is rebuilt/"recreated" over several years. One may consider if this is the basis of the expression "fana" aswell.

We know Iblis was made of "fire" and anyone who's to follow Iblis will end up in "hell". If this fire is real and it is actual fire, how can you place something made of fire(Iblis) into a place of fire? Like pouring a cup of water into the ocean, it makes no difference whatsoever. Moses spoke to The GOD through some sort of "fire". What if this isn't actually fire and just a poor interpretation attempt by simple-minded sectarians in order to create their hell/paradise illusion. They always say "You will be tortured in hell for eternity!". Control through fear.
It makes more sense to replace "fire" with 'energy'. Now we can understand that Iblis was made of some sort of energy that flows and anyone who follows Iblis will experience an intense form of energy in a place called Gehenna. Anyone who does not become self-aware in this life will experience this energy until they become self-aware.
"And be not like those who forget Allah, so He makes them forget their own souls. These are the transgressors."(5919)

A devil is appointed to the one who is not self-aware."We said, "O Adam, live with your wife in Paradise, and eat therefrom generously, as you please, but do not approach this tree, lest you sin."(235)
According to Quran, when Adam and his wife was created, they were the only two mentioned individuals that lived and ate in paradise. If Iblis is a person, why is he not told go to paradise with them? Why only two individuals? Iblis cannot be an individual but some sort of flowing energy that was inside Adam and his wife. This flowing energy called Iblis is like a virus. It encourages you to do bad. It is inside your physical body. It injects bad thoughts and ideas into your mind(control panel). If you befriend it, you become enslaved by it and then completely hijacks your mind(control panel) and takes full control of your physical body. A slave you become. You are not self-aware.
Note, the Ruh is the real you and not the physical body you can touch, see and feel."..I will fill Hell with Jinns and people all together."(3213)

You will see/realise the evil companion you had on the day you're brought back to life. You will wish your evil companion(the physical body hijacked by Iblis) was far away from the real you(the ruh/soul). You use your mind to control your physical body. Your mind acts an interface/control panel for your physical body.
You will regret what you did because you allowed your mind(control panel) to be control by Iblis.Because your control panel was infected, your were brought up dead/unaware of yourself. You allowed your mind and body to be hijacked by the energy(Iblis). You will go through a place made of an intense form of energy to remove the infection.
"We said to the controllers, "Fall prostrate before Adam." They fell prostrate, except Iblis. He was of the jinn, for he disobeyed the order of His Lord. Will you choose him and his followers as lords instead of Me, even though they are your enemies? What a miserable substitute!" (1850)
Iblis was of the jinn Since the ruh/soul is the real us and not the physical body(jinn) then Iblis as a form of energy resides/flows inside the jinn because he was of the jinn. Our physical bodies is stored energy. The law of conservation of energy tells us that energy cannot be created or destroyed but be transformed from one form to another. All matter that exists is stored energy. We cannot create energy since it is The Creator who creates and not us. We can only transform energy from one form to another.
During nuclear fusion, physical matter which is stored energy is released. Using Einsteins equation of E=MC2,we can determine the amount of energy stored in a physical body. This means that Iblis(energy) resides/flows in physical matter(stored energy). The ruh/soul is separate to this and only The Creator knows how it works.Peace.

It is not scientifically or even logically possible for something to be made of fire.
Naar actually means energy/heat which the World is made of.
Jinn is made of Naar because Jinn is the bodily and Naar the "raw material". Even yours and my body are made of this "naar".

AmenuelOf course. The problem is that people find it difficult to transition from the sectarian understanding of Jinn and Iblis/Satan and what they actually are. With false interpretations like "fire", it makes it even more difficult. Despite rejecting hadith, they continue to believe that Iblis/Satan is some horned dude made of fire, flying around and whispering into peoples ears and its some war between The GOD and evil. The Creator has no enemies or competitors. It is in fact us and the choices we make in life.

I am rather ssuspicious of thi "energy" thing. Seems to me like some fashion phenomena whereby you avoid getting into the substance just be substituting "enrgy". It is something akin as when atheists or undefined reject "God", but accept "nature".

On the other hand, the "naar" of Iblees is presented by Iblees itself as opposed to mud which is the matter man is made of.
So we must not forget that context. Is man ot made of energy? I would say thaat anything tht exists is made of energy in one form or other. So saying that something is made of energy is like ot saying anything.
What about wind. That is also energy or entails it? Why Iblees shuld choose naar and not wind for instance?
That Iblees is a jinn does not say much it refelct a trait of Iblees but not his species or the kind of being he is. Jinn means he is covered, not apparent.
The Gardin "janna" is from the same root j-n-n. baasic meaning of which is cover, conceal, hide, veil. The janna is dovered in shade an protected from the outside.
I m not convinced Iblees is a being who is part of every human being, the ego or whatever. The human being ego or individuality or identity is rather renderd by nafs.
Iblees is a nafs, a will, that is plain, but it is not the human being or a part of it. The Qur'an presents it like that.
Then they shayatin. Could it be that Iblees is a shaytan but a covered, concealed one, who acts by deceit, whereas the shayatin who are not jinn are not covered, concealed, we clearly know they are shayatin, they do not take the rouble of appearin friendly or anything, something like Donald Trump. P
So Iblees thinks of himself as naar as oppoed to the man made from mud. Does God say that Iblees is made of fire or is it only Iblees himself who says he is made of fire? That is very important question. Oviously Iblees consider himself way above humans and inmortal or at leas with a life period much longer than humans.
What kind of being is he?
Could he be a humanoid of some kind with a much longer life period than ourselves. We know we are not the only humanoid species there has been.
