Is Qoran the word of GOD? Why?

Some people are not programmed to think. Hence, they doubt.

Even from those who may not believe in GOD, the penny is starting to drop?

    https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWPFmdAWRZ0

I didn't understand it. Could you explain the meaning? That video was good though. Coincidentally, just next to it was my favorite speech
https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAh-zs1omAA and pretty much sums up the sad answer to the speech of your given video.

Soldiers! don?t give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don?t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts!

      Peace reel.
      Basically this is the summary

Our tiny earth in a giant universe should be humbling us and building our character to care for each other and support each other.

There is no room for the insignificant human in this tiny insignificant earth to be arrogant and think they are somebody big and important.

Our responsibility to care for each other and for our habitat, this earth ,should be uniting us not dividing us?

      GOD bless you.
      Peace.

You are very right. But it can be difficult for the average man to ponder upon this. I have been asked before "what do you get out of this religion studies? what do you get out of knowing about things not related to productivity? Isn't this a waste of time?"

What I get out of this is that anything not related to work and money equals to time not being spent correctly. Let the media inform us. There is no need to look into anything deeper.

        Life=being a sheeple
We need to flow with what the society tells us to do and this includes how to feel arrogant, why wage wars, etc.

        Salaam

          Peace reel.

Our EGO tends to justify most of the arguments offered by Satan/media/this world s followers... to idolize our opinions, get more attached to our culture, cherish our parents' religion, hesitate to choose rightfully, reject the guidance, refuse to increase our knowledge because we already know it all, and so on.
In other words, Satan, his descendants, and his allies from among the humans and the jinns mainly rely on our EGO to carry out their plan of diverting us from God's path.

Shedding some light on EGO, it is one sign of weakness and hesitance and a negative attribute that we all, humans, have by default. Depending on how much EGO is able to grow within us, we, wrongly and arrogantly, give ourselves a very distinct status or rank that is totally DIFFERENT from and HIGHER than the others around us.
In other words, it is a negative, exaggerated feeling of false superiority, undeserved pride, and baseless self recognition. A person with an EGO would seek the attention, need the fame, be thirsty to brag, talk much and do little, and demand the respect instead of earning it..
This attitude serves as a SHIELD from listening or paying attention to anything but ourselves. Consequently, we fail to learn or become certain ; our EGO reflects insecurity, fear, uncertainty, and weakness.

Have you seen the one whose god is his own EGO? Will you be his advocate?
Do you think that most of them hear, or understand? They are just like animals; no, they are far worse.
Have you noted the one whose god is his EGO? Consequently, God sends him astray, despite his knowledge, seals his hearing and his mind, and places a veil on his eyes. Who then can guide him, after such a decision by God? Would you not take heed?

Do not get me wrong, we must differentiate between EGO and HIGH SELF ESTEEM which is a positive attribute.
It is proportional to the level of our AWARENESS of who we are, the level of our RESPECT and COMFORT we have for our own selves, how much we are PASSIONATE about our souls, how much BELIEF and TRUST we put in everything about us and within us, and how much we APPRECIATE all what is about us and within us ; personality, upbringing, morals and integrity, beliefs, ideologies, style of thinking, family, culture, education, experience in any aspect of life, etc..
SELF ESTEEM gets developed in our character after we are born and could be enhanced or, unfortunately, would deteriorate depending on our surroundings and on the strength of our will.

A person with a good SELF ESTEEM doesn't demand the attention of everyone around, doesn't believe in his/her superiority, but simply is confident, comfortable, and content with who he/she is. This attitude brings humility and automatically antagonizes the power of our EGO inside us, thus makes us grow healthier, observe more, with eagerness to learn.

Sorry about pointing obvious things. I know they are obvious to you and few others ,but I agree with you ,they are not obvious to the majority of humans?

          GOD bless you.
          Peace.

The thing is that everything that exists is worth creating since God has created it. Therefore we also are worth creating.

What should be clar to us i the inheret dignity of ourselves annd of everything that is part of creation. And that meas also he specificity of each thing created. God has created exacly what He wanted, therefore, everything, as a creation, is perfect.

We should be happy for that nd not be plagued by worries of beig responsibe for everything that happens in te universe, but remit ourelves to those thigs we do know to the extent that we know them, and tht, even today is very little and most of it for a particular person, just hearsay, we do not know by ourselves but by what we are told.

            Salaam

              Peace huruf.
Thank you for your post. Yes an interesting thought.

Please allow me to quote for you, as an ex Catholic, from catholic stand, an interesting article

Man lives in constant delusion. There is a world of difference between a man who is aware of himself, sitting on a hill and looking at a beautiful sunrise and a man so enthralled with that very same sunrise that he forgets himself and becomes absorbed in the scene. In the first instance the man is egocentric; he is in delusion at the centre 0f his world, not God.

When I see beauty everywhere, I experience joy and a sense of connection because my eyes are not on myself. The truth is that I am simply part of the whole. Everything does not depend on me. I am free to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and the Spirit of God which permeates all when I am in the right place in the scheme of things, when I give up my grand delusion.

I am living in a fantastical delusion when I see myself as the center of the universe, viewing everything as it circles around me. As believers we sing and recite prayers that proclaim that God is the centre of all but our psychological make-up screams the exact opposite. I view people, events, history and yes even God through my eyes, judging what is right, trusting my thoughts and my feelings as the final judge of what is real. When Jesus says that we must die to ourselves, He is not speaking about some pious self-sacrifice that makes us look holy, no He has something much more radical in mind. The kind of inner transformation Jesus desires literally rips the rug up from under our feet and shatters our delusions, our world view.

              GOD bless you.
              Peace.

Oh no, I agree with everything you said. But I guess there is nothing much we can do since according to 20123 humans are cursed to hate one another. Ego is probably not hard to kill...esp for those who believe we know everything.

The attitude of total islam (not the religion) or to be more clear 'total submission' requires one to disband his / her own ego.

No religion, no nationality, no ethnicity, no social identity, no tribe, no family,no favorite holy book, no language, no title, no personal wealth, no name.
You arrived to this world without any of the above and you shall also left this world without any of the above.

On eastern religion such state of total submission is dubbed as the state of Nirvana.
In Buddhism; Nirvana refers to the imperturbable stillness of mind after the fires of desire, aversion, and delusion have been finally extinguished. In Hindu philosophy, it is the union with Brahman, the divine ground of existence, and the experience of blissful egolessness.

                    Peace All.

It pays to "Kill the EGO" now, before the day of remorse. Feeling guilty on that day or apologising will not do.

The test for belief is really believing that "the day of judgement "will arrive. If you believe you will be accountable at GOD s, you will try your hardest to "Kill your EGO"!!!!

But of course if you believe GOD ,then here is the warning in His message

Warn them about the Day of Remorse, when judgment will be issued. They are totally oblivious; they do not believe.

You will not declare just a single remorse, on that day; you will suffer through a great number of remorses.

Therefore, no apology, on that day, will benefit the transgressors, nor will they be excused.

O you who disbelieved, do not apologize today. You are being requited only for what you did.

Woe on that day to the rejectors.
That is the day they do not speak.
Nor are they given permission to apologize.

                    GOD bless.
                    Peace.

You can be someone, but you must realize that you are more than the Beastly Body in which you dwell.
