    FROM THE INSIDE OUT

    When reading the Quran what kind of audience are you? Are you a doubtful reader?
    Is it just a book to you? Are there higher authorities? Is the Quran the last word or
    the word among many? Is the Quran the word of God or that of man? What is your
    state of mind when reading Quran? How do you interact with its verses? These
    are very important questions, because the readers approach is key to gaining what Quran
    has to offer.

    If one is skeptical about of the validity of the Quran, then it becomes difficult to receive
    because the Quran is best understood when suspicion has been suspended. Trust
    in God is key in order for the dialogue to become personal and to put one on the
    ground at the time that the revelation is being revealed and helping one to feel present
    at the time of revelation. Knowing that the Quran is the absolute truth regardless of one's
    understanding will help you to move forward and not become stuck or doubtful of ayats
    we do not understand at the moment or may never understand. As time goes on our level
    of understanding may grow to understand something that we did not previously comprehend.
    Being patient and knowing that if God wills he will reveal the meaning of his ayats to us over
    time if we continue with diligence.

    peace

    Although I have just started reading about the Quran, I believe applying an approach of trust isn't fair and puts you in the same category of those who follow the Hadith.

    It is clear to me that those who follow the Hadith as well as the Quran(at least from their perspective) will try to make their arguments by putting trust in the Hadith and will be critical against those who don't follow it.

    In the same manner, those that want to follow the Quran only, will be critical against the Hadith and will put trust in the Quran.

    After all people give many reasons as to why the Hadith is not authentic.
    What are the reasons behind the Quran being authentic, how can you convince an outsider, someone who has no faith in any religion, to put faith in this holy book by making a compelling argument?

    We find exceptionally written books these days as well and they are really good.
    What is about the Quran that makes it so different to the point that it can be classified as authentic beyond any doubt?

    My opinion is to read the Quran critically too and try to find flaws, shall the book be really authentic then I will prove me wrong every time I try to challenge it( and I really hope Allah doesn't take this approach as an insult as my hope is to be proven wrong every time).

      Peace NewFreeMind.

      GOD has put the challenge you mention in Qoran.

      Go ahead, Qoran is waiting for your challenge.

      Also you say, quote
      We find exceptionally written books these days as well and they are really good.

      Well.the difference is that Qoran is surrounded by invisible forces that guard it and serve it (1339, 4142, 4224).unlike other books.

      And unlike any other book, the Qoran is taught by God (551-2); He teaches us what we need at the time we need it. This is why we read the Quran hundreds of times without getting bored. We can read a novel, for example, only once. But the Qoran can be read an infinite number of times, and we derive new and valuable information from it every time.

      Brother Hawk may be was implying the following
      On the other hand, the insincere readers - those who read the Qoran to find fault with it - are diverted from the Quran (7146, 1745, 1857, 4144).In fact, God's invisible forces help them find the faults they seek. Since the Qoran is perfect, such "faults" serve only to reveal their lack of knowledge .
      I agree with both of you.
      GOD bless you.
      Peace.

        Salaamun,

        I will say

        3101

        And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has been guided to a straight path.

        Even though with alQuraan or Allah's messenger one cannot be guided.
        But if he/she holds Allah firmly, is surely guided to the straight path.

        I strongly believe that with alQuraan and/or Allah's messenger we cannot be guided without Allah.

        alQuraan = Yes
        Allah's messenger = Yes
        Allah = No

        Result = not guided.

        But if we have Allah without alQuraan and/or Allah's messenger, we are still be guided.

        alQuraan = No
        Allah's messenger = No
        Allah = Yes

        Result = guided.

        May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

                All great messages guys. Hope it would be useful to new people.

                There has to be some written work on what hicham said
                Foist not your inherited/preconceived notions upon the text.

                to help someone with someone who is skeptic as mentioned by Hawk
                If one is skeptical about of the validity of the Quran, then it becomes difficult to receive because the Quran is best understood when suspicion has been suspended.

                Although I have just started reading about the Quran, I believe applying an approach of trust isn't fair and puts you in the same category of those who follow the Hadith.

                I agree. Because of this, one has to search what kind of protection the Quran has, who God is, how humans are and how to use the mind for detection of poison. It can be difficult for those who are very young. I have been there. Needs a lot of studying, reflecting and experiences. We are taught in schools and by the media to put trust on scholars (not just hadith writers). Appeal to authority fallacy is so ridiculously promoted that even when we want to question we are shut off with the excuse that some nobel prize winner knows far better than us and is a master of everything just because he has that prize. Don't give into those or you would be turned into a dumb like the young me and others.

                The ultimate medication is to use the senses and ask God for guidance.

                So high (above all) (is) Allah the King, the True. And (do) not hasten with the Quran before is completed to you its revelation, and say, "My Lord! Increase me (in) knowledge."20114

                What are the reasons behind the Quran being authentic, how can you convince an outsider, someone who has no faith in any religion, to put faith in this holy book by making a compelling argument?

                Only supplemental help can be provided to an interested outsider. I don't see the reason to convince him or her. I'd rather put why I believe in Quran. Its not for us to guide anyone. Guidance comes from Allah. Its a one on one thing (man and Allah).

                Quranic verses are seen in action in many places all around the world without the direct reference or without being aware by those who are applying them. Yet plenty of people have problem with them. Think about the idea of helping the poor. Conservatives detest it by saying its socialism. Try to be righteous by being patient and polite. The response you will get is that you are faking it. Plenty of men and women try to stay virgin, but they are tagged as losers. The west upholds freedom of speech approved by Allah in Quran, but sunnis and shias have problem with it.
                That is why, we should keep this verse in mind
                And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place.1829

                and if you search for muhammed remember the religion is the cult of your father prophet Abraham not muhammed in the sunni shia sense and stay true and never a sectarian do this and you'll be the muslim man/woman

                  I do wonder where Abraham's hadiths were hmm

                  Why do you wonder? Just open the Bible or look into the Torah of the Jews. Many stories in there that did not occur. And same with Moses, he did not kill a man in Mesr but was chased away by a malicious mob.

                  A bit of the Bible is added nonsense, but either due to misinterpretation or that segments of text as added later and not so much due to manipulations of the original text. Only the 'Ten Commandments' was what was MADE WRITTEN by Rabb however and they were called AL-Torah (the ambiguous) as they were left "as is". They look like plain statutes, but there is more than meets the eye and there is a reason behind following them more than mere obedience to a deity; they are a remedy in prevailing in a corrupting World that likes to consume you.

                  Other parts of the Bible contain material written down by prophets as insight for future or wise recommendations, but it is obvious that there is either added material or the interpretation is false and hence misunderstood. The Bible is not one writing also but consists of several scriptures in one, like a form of a collection.

                  And other accounts shining with their absence in Bible actually reveal misinformation in it such as that Moses kills a man in 'Mesr' but actually he is chased away due to a conspiracy against him. This story is written about in another book and also referred to in the historical account that the ancient historian Josepheus wrote. It is when he is chased away and gone that he is strengthened by Rabb through signs and encouraged to return to the 'Children of Israel'. Moses was not chased away for no apparent reason but he spoke out about what he had understood on spiritual matters towards a misguided and superstitious people.

                  Its not for us to guide anyone.

                  We can inform people, but themselves must make sure to guide themselves. Yet you can make people wake up.

                  It is the best thing we can do in this World as there is not really anything else to do anyway once you have realized its purpose, i.e. help others (or at least try).

                  The ultimate medication is to use the senses and ask God for guidance.

                  If one is receptive at all which might not be the case as their delusion can be great upon them. We have a great independence in this test and one has to make themselves developed enough first. Otherwise we are just helpless victims here who have no bright future. We must struggle not to be slaves to a contradicting world. The link to Rabb comes automatically through ascension and this is evident in your mind coming clearer and clearer and then Rabb is in you as you have grown in your image. Who do you think it is who is smart in you when you sense your superiority? You or Rabb? Actually, it is you both in symbiosis, but Rabb encompasses more than you do. When you make something out, it is Rabb who does it in you while it is as you. As I have written before "I am who am I" Moses was told.

                  Rabb can "speak" to you, but rarely does so but you must find Rabb within you. As Rabb expressed "You must find Me within yourself" to me and you must through that manifestation manage your way through. If Rabb helped you on every matter now would it be a test, would it? No, it would be cheating, like asking the leader of a quiz for the answer while you are asked. And yes, finding the answer to your existence is part of your testing and you will not get a straight answer from Rabb, but hints at it is in AL-Torah.

                  Well now, Rabb was actually too kind to compile AL-Quran which is a manifestation (the word Quran means that) and is intended to contain all relevant information and of course it does. But Rabb did not make it too easy as it was already from its compilation prophesied to contain a false interpretation left in the hands of hypocritical clergymen with their scholars. Obviously Rabb controls them as well, but if we can be aware of such and find a little independent influence in it all then We truly Are.

                  Rabb said "It has not been interpreted. Islam is not My religion". There never was any religion called Islam. Islam is just a random albeit good word in Semitic etymology. However, obviously it is good to be muslim (attributive adjective), but one must also show they are truly muslim by words and deeds. It is not muslim to say you are one and then indulge in a worldly portrayal of Rabb which is obviously disinformation.

                  Anyway, one's concern should be to work on the own consciousness (their self = a ' nafs - hem) and despite the lonely and independent whereabouts they must find their way to the Rabb and only by knowing their self they can.

                  Your (bodily) senses may deceive you, but use your "sixth sense". Master your self, and find that the Body is in conflict with your development.

                  Think about the idea of helping the poor. Conservatives detest it by saying its socialism.

                  Yes, it is strange that religious people are on the right side rather than left. If the system of God was put in full effect then it would be something like communism in practice. You see how the contradict themselves and their faith. Jesus would be a pure socialist and would not vote for another party than one that supports socialism, yet modern Christians are mostly on the right flank. The reason is that they are cornered by their conservative files.

                  It is like one should revere their possessions while they should share them all around them when they do not absolutely need them for their bodily survival. It is like this world is the true one. It exposes them as hypocrites when they say they do not live for this world.

                  If I would make a political party I would place it on the left in the outdated left-right scale and try to improve the spirituality of all my members. I would not try to attract people due to their religious views but based on their values yet not portray the party as "atheist". It is better and more important to be empathetic and humane than to be religious and adhere strictly to that doctrine. The human animal "Homo Sapiens" has great problems with empathy when the instinct (Satan) is calling. Then it is wise to forget about your self, the Body. See other people, understand their pitiful situation and perhaps know you are well off due to circumstances but could as well have been like them. You do not help them by yelling foul words at them or saying they are lazy. How can a weak fallen person rise up when you sit on them and make them feel worthless? Then you will contribute to their further succumbing to Satan when they go buy a gun and steal a car* and gun somebody down in their frustration. They are sad and broken and are basically no one, but with a warmer community you could guide them to something better. And then all you can do is gun them down, is that a solution? Is it not better to find the roots of the problem? Well, it is taboo/"haram" to talk about it and you are labelled communist swine immediately, especially in the 'United States of America'.

                  • Taken from a song by Elvis Presley. You should listen to it and understand the moral lesson. The song is named "In the ghetto". I cannot listen to it without tears and if you can you are an animal, too.

                        Hello Neptin,

                        The most important factor is that 'qatal' does not mean kill.

                        Besides there are other accounts in which Moses is encountering a different event than in Bible and Quran. For example, in Josepheus account he is the victim of a conspiracy towards him.

                        When reconsidering the translation of the passages with Moses my translation revealed that the event was similar to what Josepheus tells, i.e. he tries to convince people of his enlightenment but fails and has to flee. After that he comes to the cave from which he senses a kind of energy and there he senses Rabb calling for him. Rabb gives him stronger signs to show the people and his brother to back him up so he is not lonely.

                        Rabb also reveals such things as "I am who am I" and "tell the 'Children of Israel' that 'I AM' has sent me" (basically means I sent myself).

                        Be safe
                        Amenuel
