It does not say that water comes from within the land, but that it extracts from the land the water that the land has in it.
It is two different things and I think it refers to two different phenomenons, in this case it refers to the current state of things uponn the land. Its humidity allows the growth of plants and drinking by animals.

water and iron both come from outer space after the formation of solar system,,, the water come from asteroids like comets wheras the iron and other metals sent down when a planet size like mars encounter with young earth in the early days of solar system,,, God knows best,,,

Praise to God that He reveals more and more signs per the day through human science discoveries that only confirm His existence. Strange those who conduct the research are mainly atheists considered how awesome it is. They find signs of God's existence and still continue their disbelief. I was convinced through science maybe 15 years ago that God exists and I did not become a believer through traditional religion.

Hello Study,
I wrote most and not synonymous, but as you say it may not even be most. The prevalence of atheism in many science branches may be high though.
They might not adhere to primitive faiths though as their intellect may protect them from that ignorance and irrationality. I wrote in certain posts that the worldly portrayal of Rabb may turn them off too and so to say do theism a disservice. Smart people require more plausible explanations or they will simply not swallow the proposed concept.
Personally what turned me off from conventional Islam was just that and that the god seems awfully primitive and uses a grand portion of a writing to boast about its own greatness. I mean, it does what it tells others (its "slaves" to do not. To my relief Quran and Rabb revealed to me that account simply was not true, the common interpretation simply is a crazy fabrication, but it does however mislead a multitude of people with what does not help anyone of them and it misrepresents Rabb severely, which really interpreted texts would better appeal to atheists if they knew what it really conveyed.

The Quran says that God sends down water from the sky as a mercy and a blessing, and I?ve always understood this as rain from the clouds, but I've never thought that it could also be understood as water from outer space! (This could be common knowledge, but I didn?t know, LOL!) So when I saw the article, I just had to share it with someone!
After reading the article and doing some searches in the Quran, I noticed that the sending down of water from the sky is also mentioned with the creation of the heavens and the Earth, the creation of the sun and the moon, the creation of plants and creatures, and the Resurrection.
726 O Children of Adam, We have sent down for you garments to alleviate your bodies, and feathers; and the garment of righteousness is the best. That is from the signs of God, perhaps they will remember.
Now, you have 2 options
- Understand that the use of "sent down" in the Qur'an cannot be used as positive proof of things arriving to earth from outer space.
- Accept that garments came to earth from outer space.
Actually, there is a 3rd option. You can simply be dishonest and cherry pick. You can scream Allahu Akbar and talk about the scientific accuracy of the Qur'an when it talks about iron/water being sent down but just take the verse about the garment on to be something metaphorical.

Everything on this planet is bonded by hydrogen is it not possible, no probable that there was oxygen there too?
