The shame is that ISIS is following Quran wholeheartedly in the traditional sectarian interpretation. If you listen to the hateful tone you may be influenced by it, especially if you use the accompanying hadith with it. Why would you have a different attitude when the god in it is aggressive and wishes to crucify and torture people eternally? If that is your idol then obviously you hold a similar attitude, disbelievers are dirty and cannot even be held with tongs.
Other people are hypocrites to the interpretation, not following it.

its not about isis , its the way of understanding everybody have, everbody need to educate themselves specially the muslim extremist organisation , they are taking help from some flasehood history hadith based events to show themselves true muslim, but you cant give lisence to kill/murder anybody in the name of religion, its totally against quran and islam, whoever is using these things they are accountable,
apart from muslims, how many wars happened between nations from time to time you cant even calculate them for a quick list go wikipedia check the known battles in the last 1000 years u cant even imagine how much ppeople killed , who throw atom bomb on heroshema and nagasaki, it was muslims , who was the responsible of first world war , its muslims, who invade the mongolian empire, british empire, america wars , all are muslims,

As long as people believe all the Islamic dogmas that don't make even a shred of sense and leads to perpetual backwardness, terror, oppression and violence. The West wouldn't be able to do anything if Muslims didn't insist on maintaining their medieval and dogmatic mindset. And it's not only ISIS, it's the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Shabaab, Boko Haram, Al Nusra, Jaysh al Islam and hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of other groups and Islamic organizations throughout the world. And they really are not that different from each other....

I'm not saying the West is innocent (western imperialism is another topic), but the hands do not matter...
It's the Muslims themselves who have all those violent and totally idiotic beliefs and oppressive and terroristic mindset...

In my opinion, it's not only because of the sectarian interpretation, but also because of the dangerous and very misguided belief that everything in the Qur'an must be applied at all times and everywhere right to every letter (although they are not consistent in doing this either because they are hypocrites). So if the Qur'an says something, anything, it must be true, universal, timeless and apply to all people and all nations on every corner in the world. No need to look for any historical, socio-economic or political context, no need to take into account the strong Arab culture at the time etc. That still is the prevailing Arab/Muslim attitude and mindset; Allah says this, or the prophet says this, end of discussion ! If Allah, or the prophet said; "You will enter Heaven, if you have sex with your sister", they probably would believe and act on that too... because they have chosen to completely shut off their own conscience and intellect.
