Every religion is based in a messenger the messenger comes to warn to remind. If not for a man or some guy who would even both to think deeply about creation? All religions even the Hindus had a messenger yet he has opposition. Look at their statues don't they look like men? Did the idol worship idols when they were simply men? I once went to a budhist temple and I saw the many budhas I knew them each had a focus sword in hand a messenger or teacher of war and it goes on who they are and what they were remembered for.
Some Hindus were remembered for their live of elephants protecting them through their lives. Statues are not much different from mirrols showing a man and what he loved. -
