WHO SAYS ANY FOOD IS ALLOWED?

HALAL FOOD
The hypocrites are preaching that any food is halal(lawful), even a McDonald hamburger, as long as bismilah is said before the person begins eating it. See how they invent lies about God. They are nothing but Satans trying to lead many away from obedience.53 FORBIDDEN to you is carrion, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that over which any name other than God's has been invoked, and the animal that has been strangled, or beaten to death, or killed by a fall, or gored to death, or savaged by a beast of prey, save that which you may have slaughtered while it was still alive; and all that has been slaughtered on idolatrous altars. ?As for him, however, who is driven by dire necessity and not by an inclination to sinning - behold, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.
587 O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not deprive yourselves of the good things of life which God has made lawful to you, but do not transgress the bounds of what is right ?
(222 ? and that they might mention the name of God on the days appointed (for sacrifice], over whatever heads of cattle He may have provided for them?2236 ? Hence, mention the name of God over them when they are lined up ; and after they have fallen lifeless to the ground, eat of their flesh, and feed the poor?
6118 EAT, then, of that over which God's name has been pronounced, if you truly believe in His messages.6121 (6121) and, eat not of that over which God's name has not been pronounced?
(591) By means of intoxicants and games of chance Satan seeks only to sow enmity and hatred among you, and to turn you away from the remembrance of God and from prayer. Will you not, then, desist?Lets do a deep analysis of why it is impossible to get a true Halal product from the unbelievers.
-
carrion If an animal got alive, regardless of animal health condition, to the door of the slaughter house, its meat is good to sale by unbelievers standards. However, for believers, if the animal was dragged because it was so sick it could not walk, and died before it could be sacrificed, it is considered carrion. Believers can not trust that the meat being sold to them by unbelievers do not come from one of those cases.
-
blood; Many companies and restaurants put blood in their products to enhance the taste of food.
-
flesh of swine; restaurants and food companies sometimes mix swine meat, or swine byproducts, in their products, either for taste or to make it cheaper.
-
that over which any name other than God's has been invoked; A company selling a product could have label it as halal, but it is impossible to know if the person that actually sacrificed the animal invoked the name of his idol over the animal. And, even if the name of Allah was mentioned over the animal, is it acceptable, if the person who did it was a pagan catholic? Also, in the case of a restaurant, even if the food is being prepared with halal ingredients, it can not be known if the person preparing the food invoked the name of his idol over the prepared food. Furthermore, in the case of products that come from pagan countries, such as spices from the Indian subcontinent, believers cannot know if the products were blessed by their priest in the name of their idols before being sent to market. This truly poses a challenge for those of us that live in places that grow no food at all, and where all the food is imported from far away paces.
-
beaten to death, or killed by a fall, or gored to death; infidels have no respect at all for animals, and no fear of God, I have witness it my self, and they kill them in very evil ways. Believers shall avoid eating meat that comes from infidels, big or small companies or whatever, because even if they are asked they will lie, for most of them are liars.
*intoxicants; many companies put high amounts of caffeine or other chemical drugs in their products in order to make the consumers get addicted to them.
In conclusion, the only products that believers can be sure to be Halal to eat are those that were grown, processed, and served by believers. Any other products seems to be unacceptable. This truly poses a challenge for those of us that live in pagan countries, it seem that the only solutions is to either move to a Muslim country that grows food, so to ensure that from the producer to our table there is a line of believers, or grow our own food.
Furthermore, nowadays there is another big issue with food, even if it was grown, processed, and served by believers, and that is Genetically Modified Food. (4119) and shall lead them astray, and fill them with vain desires; and I shall command them ? and they will corrupt God's creation!". Are this products of Satan?s inspiration, part animal part plant, Halal to eat? Many of the animals mixed with products such as tomatoes, potatoes, corn, etc. are not lawful, at least according to the torah.
(152) And it will come to pass that those who are bent on denying this truth will wish that they had surrendered themselves to God.
153 Leave them alone; let them eat and enjoy themselves the while the hope beguiles them for in time they will come to know.May God increase our knowledge and give us wisdom.

Selam brother,
I really like what you are writing. I grew up with atheists and muslims and one thing i find very disturbing. I had friends who were very bad man and did do a lot of haram, such as selling drugs and other bad things. Than i see that these ex muslim friends go the butcher and ask for halal meat. So in these times we have muslims who drink alcohol and smoke weed and when ramadan comes, one month they take a break. I think halal meat is very important and the only way to get halal meat is when you feed your own animals and when you slaughter them self. So you are right, moving back to a Muslim country. But i live in Bosnia since a few months and i am opening a fast food restaurant. I will only sell halal meat, by the way many muslims here eat also pork and drink alcohol. Halal meat for the most is not important as long as it is not pork, so also when i lived in Holland the most Muslims from Turkey and Marokko and other muslims countries also say as long it is not pork, we can go to Burger King and Macdonalds. But recently they found human dna in hamburgers and after watching on youtube https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=18uQEymsCrY . I know for sure that this is the reason that every year in USA there are hundred of thousands of children missing every year. We do not hear anything about this and they graves are never to be found, because as explained in this video, the people eat their own children.
So i did not eat hamburgers at macdonalds for a long time and than i saw the video, i was very happy that i did not eat any mac or king anymore. But i might have eaten in my younger years human flesh. I asked Allah for forgiveness for all the bad things i have done and now opening a fast food restaurant i did a lot of research about halal meat. And you are right even where halal is written you never know if it is halal. For example, when they say that you are eating halal chicken, it can be so that the imam just one time says bismilah and then 10000 chickens get slaughtered. Or that on the knives is written bismilah or a tape that non stop plays bismiliah.
Is it halal when you eat a chicken and you see the bone is not fully grown and you can break it with small force? I think not. These chickens are modified and full of antibiotics and they do not have any space to walk, so they get very thick very fast. Is this halal? And what kind of food do these animals get, even the movies Food inc. tells us that everything is modified, the cattle eat corn and that is not natural. So these animals have problems with health. Maybe a lot of pain? Is this halal even if you say bismilah?Opening a fast food restaurant where i in shaa Allah will sell a lot of meat to school children and the rest of the people in the city, should be halal and it will be halal and i will explain how i will try to make this happen. I know a butcher who lives in a near by village and i can buy meat from him, he prays and slaughters the animal in the name of Allah. He buys his cattle from farmers, who are not big farmers and he also does not slaughter many animals like in big slaughter houses. Then i will grind this flesh to minced meat and make hamburgers. The only problem i do not know what kind of life this animal had and what kind of food. I know that the food most farmers give to the cattle is bought from companies or corn, but in Bosnia i think these cattle might be a grass eating cattle and i really love to eat this meat, it is much testier that the flesh i used to eat in Holland. This is one of the many reasons why i came back to live in the country where i was born. To live according the Quran and one of these things i have to follow is eating halal meat. Also i see that Allah calls fish also meat, so i ask myself is it not logic that even fish has to be halal. Everybody says fish does not have to be halal, i think when killing a fish, we also have to do it in the name of Allah. I am starting to think that everything we use to eat we should say bismilah. It is given to us by Allah to feed us, so next time harvest fruits or vegetables i will say bismilah.
With chicken i do not know how to make chicken food to be halal, but i have seen strong chicken bones without blood in them, so i think that this chicken farmer might be better in treatment of his animals than most chicken farmers. Still i have to investigate chicken more. I have a some land and in the future i might begin my own bio chicken farm. For the beginning i will try to look at the bone structure and if it is halal. So i will make tavuk doner from these chickens and it will be as halal as possible. In the future i hope to begin the chicken farm and to give the animals a good life before i slaughter them and eat them and sell them.
We have restaurants that say it is halal, but you never know for sure. Also some people on youtube go to halal diners and rate them. In this video i see that that these Muslims do not even say bismilah before they start eating https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzmzsXfcJY0 . And it is not in this video alone, not in one video they say bismiliah. People should know where their meat comes from and if it is really halal. The best way as i said it is to have your own animals and you should slaughter your own animals, by doing so you also will not eat everyday meat. I think we eat too much meat and should eat less.
Peace

The thing with most restaurants is that they cook pork + other meat in the same oven / frying pan / oil...
I do not think that Muslims cook pork, so what you say might be correct for someone who eats a hamburger at a place that says that they sell beef or chicken, and if they sell also pork meat than this what you say might be correct. I do not believe that a place that sells halal meat will sell pork, also if a restaurant sells alcohol than you can imagine what kind of meat you might eat.

Isn't pagan just the same as Muslim anyway? Since when did Muslim countries become countries of believers?

The Guided One Peace be with you and the mercy of Allah. May God increase you in knowledge and give you wisdom, and affirms in your heart the fear of disobeying His commands. To me, it seems that animals shall be treated with compassion, and feeding them what Allah designed for them, and slaughter them in the way Allah commands. If we do not find how in Quran, God tells us to search for guidance in Torah. If we are merciless towards animals, we will face the same end as that of the Thamud.
Zulf
Isn't pagan just the same as Muslim anyway? Since when did Muslim countries become countries of believers? You are right. But the idea is that there is a greater possibility to find believers, or Muslims willing to listen and change their ways, among those who at least do not burn the Quran, than among those who wish to put us all to death unless we bow/serve to them.
may God increase our knowledge and give us wisdom.

Selam wrkmmn,
I do not believe I have to read torah or any other book, Quran is all i need. And if someone has a good hart does he need any book to learn him or her how to treat animals? I don't think so. You have love in your hart or not? Quran says to slaughter in his name. I wake up and say bismilah, before i eat and drink and when i am ready i say elhamdulilah. I think every day about Quran and Allah and i thank him for all the good things He has given me all day and before sleeping I say euzu bilah mine shejtan i radjim, bismilaha i rahman i rahim and Allah u Ekber and the next day i do the same. So this is how i think i should behave and its is from Quran.
I ask myself sometimes why humans are here on earth and Quran says to worship Allah and nothing else. This life is a test and thank you for your kind words, God bless you and may God increase our knowledge. Peace

This is one of the most important topics, not just for Muslims, for all of the mankind. Speaking of this, I'll start with His blessed name and His ayat marked as 02168. There're about 20 ayats which starts with "O, mankind" and all are about faith, but this one, which is about "deen", rules.
This ayat is about the food. We all should eat halal and tayyib, otherwise we're following shaytan's footsteps. So, the food is the source of shaytan worshipping and becoming shaytan from men. This is why this topic is very important. We should also remember that the food is what caused Adam as to go out of Jannat, and we have Shaytan again in that story.
In 0505 we have to understand that the food from Ahl-ul-Kitab (Jews and Christians) is allowed to us, if it's not against other ayats, but we should also see that this ayat is telling us that we cannot eat the food from other (then them and Muslims) people. I haven't found any ayat that we can eat from mushriqoon, have you?
Ayats 06118-119 and many others can tell us more about the food, and the Qur'an has all we have to know about it. But, remember, it's very important to know about this.
I've found some video about the meat and this is good to see www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA7-7igGU1I
Allah's bless and salam
