By leaving the language is supposed to say "separate from" as in the form of gain independence from. The son or daughter should no longer be under their parents' wings. Yet mother and father are to be cared for but they are no longer your guardians. In your spouse you are your own guardian. Your parents were the ones bringing you to life through their decision to reproduce, and it is in the Mosaic directives to care for your own kin. Leaving them to disaster is against it.

I would agree with this. peace

RED yes and it's all your fault >

Hey, I'll take the blame for this, debate is good!

So curious, what are all your living situations like currently? (If anyone minds sharing - I'm living with my parents at the moment while I'm home, but at college I live with roommates in the dorms.)

GREEN I wasn't joking but when I saw that some did not like my attitude towards my mom I had to handle it like I was joking O0
I think I got you now totally confused tempt

With all the efforts of Man of Faith to have us reincarnate, next time I am born I will ask to be Bender's daughter and he my mother. It will be tremendous fun. I can't wait for it.

        Huruf,

Incredible that you have not been able to recognize what my efforts are. If you had you would know my effort is to NOT make you reincarnate and rather be an angel. No one in their right mind would like to remain in Jahennom, to degrade in Hell (usual translation "burn in Hell&quot.

This place right now is just a huge contradiction and we are deceived into taking identity with it and our bodies, but there is a reality beyond it.

It does not really help that deluded clerics did invent something else to mislead people either based on innocent writings that in truth say something else.

RED I am speaking in general, this means both parents are healthy and have no financial problems or some other serious things. If everything is normal, I do not see why the parents should live with their children after their children get married.

It is an option, but it would obviously not be any obligation. I think you would require a building that can be sectioned into multiple parts because sometimes you wish for privacy. Heck sometimes I even wish to be alone from my wife, particularly when meditating and contemplating. My son also makes a lot of noise and I revere silence, but I suppose I cannot expect more of a five-year-old whose Spirit has not sprouted up yet and is still stuck in their little innocent world.

I wrote somewhere else in this thread that in ancient Semitic tradition it was common that sons and daughters moved away and settled from their parents. But it is also worth knowing in ancient times there were no specific homes for elders and infirm such would obviously have to live near another family member or they would die because they cannot take care of themselves. That would be quite cruel if no one took care of them.

But like I once again wrote earlier, settlements in the past often consisted of multiple clustered buildings were the next of kin could live nearby each other yet usually in separate structures. I would obviously not be fussed about having my mother and father living in a house across a yard, they are not stepping on my toenails in lack of space.

In some cases, ancient times we were more humane, at least on certain things and you did actually care for your own kin as opposite to what often is the case today. And Jesus did say care for your kin and neighbors but also outsiders.

Aw. I didn't know you had children. I hope your son doesn't give you or your wife that much trouble. I'm glad he has creativity at least; I think creativity is a blessing.

Reminds me of the quote, "It takes a village to raise a child." Although in this case you would have to replace child with senior.

I am afraid joking is not the most recognized thing in this thread.

              I acknowledge my failure.

"Hehe", huruf. I recognized you were joking, but nevertheless it misrepresented what I say.

But I think what you have been saying is clear to everybody, so I really doubt that anybody, in case they give a damn for what I say, would be misled.

Obviously not clear enough for misrepresentation.
