What Does Surah 10:28 - 10:30 mean?
-
Partners is the question?
It means what it says there is a verse speaking of blame casting from one to the other so maybe this is in coordination with those verses? The Question is who are the partners? That is why i think this must be Prophets and not satan. Allah knows best

See 3370-73Those who have conscious knowledge of good and do the opposite (hypocrite/munafiq)
Those who unknowingly follow those who are hypocrites (idolater/mushrik)Reasoning
- The hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire
- They misled all else (for example - truth had come to Firaun, his nafs accepted, he rejected )
- Whoever gains Knowledge is bestowed Power and is in a position to lead others irrespective of the quantity of Knowledge
- Whoever does not know must Trust someone who does know (96)
This is my current understanding of this
From time back to now
Iblis started the first act of kfr symbolically mentioned in Quran
He chose to be munafiq - he knew (he spoke directly to God), he chose to reject and became accursed
He chose to be mushrik - took desire/ego as Ilah besides AllahIblis invites everyone to the Fire
Whoever obeys Iblis is a mushrik at the time of obeying
Whoever is taught Wisdom and carries out actions against it, they lead by falsehood (leaders of injustice/error - munafiqeen)
Then people ignorantly follow that falsehood without verifying as per 1736 (mushrikeen)This is a universal definition of Enlightenment, Salam. In order to bring a new evil, one necessarily must know the equivalent good outcome and violate the Trust. So this renders every one of us liable, human and jinn, that if we know, then we surrender. If we do not know, then we verify. This is the nature of the Trust, this is the Absolute Decree for the Justice Supreme of Nirvana/Al-Fana in the life of this world and Paradise in the life of Akhirah.
This means that who is of slm does not always mean who is of a particular tribe or community. Each is judged with justice as an individual according to the precise measure of their life experience and knowledge of Good and knowledge of evil, and according to how they utilised this knowledge.
A leader in error is unforgiven on the resurrection unless they died in salam to Allah/Al-Nur-ul-Samawati-wal-Ard (The Light of the Heavens and the Earth)
A follower of error is unforgiven on the resurrection unless they died in salam to Allah aloneAl-Nur-ul-Samawati-wal-Ard is the Perfect Decree
All else besides it can either be of salam to Al-Nur-ul-Samawati-wal-Ard hence Perfect Decree
or not of salam to Al-Nur-ul-Samawati-wal-Ard and contain error
The servants may perform with mistakes, errors, and all kinds of inconsistencies and intricacies
Al-Nur-ul-Samawati-wal-Ard is Flawless Always- Living Enlightenment/Jivan Mukti
All praises of all kinds be to Allah who makes precise the revelations for all, confirming with the Sure Knowledge
-
The servants may perform with mistakes, errors, and all kinds of inconsistencies and intricacies
Al-Nur-ul-Samawati-wal-Ard is Flawless AlwaysSelam, do you mean with this that if Muslims also pray to Muhamed and Ibrahim and their family in prayers that they are not wrong? I do not understand that is why i ask.

After reading chapter 16 and 17 of the holy Quran, i am sure that Allah warns us about associating others with Him and that He is telling us about prophets. I really think that 1756 and 1627 - 1640 is clearly telling us about other prophets. We can conclude that together 1028-1030 only the prophets can be the one we associate with him, because Allah is telling us that they can not hear us. So the prophets are dead and they can not hear us, also we can read in Quran that Allah says in they prayer the mention my name least. I really think that these verses tell us about prophets, if other Muslims have an other opinion, i would like to hear them.
-
This must be about the prophets Who else would we invoke with Allah, who also prays to Allah, this can only be prophets. Many Muslims use Mohamed and Ibrahim in their prayer.
Asad Those whom they invoke are themselves striving to obtain their Sustainer's favour - those among them who are closest 68 - hoping for His grace and dreading His chastisement for, verily, thy Sustainer's chastisement is something to beware of!
Malik Those to whom they pray, themselves seek the means of access to their Rabb - trying as to who can be more near - they hope for His Mercy and fear His punishment, for the punishment of your Rabb is terrible indeed.
Pickthall Those unto whom they cry seek the way of approach to their Lord, which of them shall be the nearest; they hope for His mercy and they fear His doom. Lo! the doom of thy Lord is to be shunned.
Yusuf Ali Those whom they call upon do desire (for themselves) means of access to their Lord even those who are nearest they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of. 2243

It is very easy to associate. One is in dispair, God is, or rather we feel Him very far in the sense that His ways are so ungraspable by us that we tend to cling to what seems more certain, graspable, beings or things or ways for us as the source of solution to our problems or aspirations. It is very easy indeed.
People pray to Jesus, because Jesus seem to them more approachable, and it is easier for them to bestow on Jesus unlimited power than to bestow on themselves unlimited faith in something they are not able to conceive.
Some people are able to consider those other beings as mere creatures of God reflecting some of His names and deal with them like that. But the gap between one thing and the other are not clear to all people.
Salaam

Yes Brother, it can be prophets, holy men, imams and all other beings a person takes as a conduit when asking for help from our Rabb. Pls refer to AlFatehah, 15, non-compliance thereof means failure

Thanks Hanslan and Huruf and peace to you both, God bless you

I do believe that verse 18102 clearly tells us that we take other prophets as God and that they are good Muslims. I think this is not imams or scholars, but prophets. Most Muslims do not mention imams when they pray, but do mention prophets in their prayer. And in hadith books you can read to give selam to blessing to prophet Muhamed and Ibrahim and their families. A hadith i found says that saying this 10 times before sleeping that Muhamed will come on the day of resurrection and that you for sure not will go to hell, that he will save you. Like he has power above Allah. The verse 18110 clearly tells this and this is the end of this chapter. Very nice chapter to read and also to understand who will go to hell and who will go to heaven.
18102
Asad Do they who are bent on denying the truth think, perchance, that they could take My creatures for protectors against Me? Verily, We have readied hell to welcome all who deny the truth!
Malik Do the unbelievers think that they can take my servants as protectors, to save themselves from Hell, instead of Me? Certainly We have prepared Hell for the entertainment of such unbelievers.
Pickthall Do the disbelievers reckon that they can choose My bondmen as protecting friends beside Me? Lo! We have prepared hell as a welcome for the disbelievers.
Yusuf Ali Do the Unbelievers think that they can take my servants as protectors besides Me? Verily We have prepared Hell for the Unbelievers for (their) entertainment.

Asad Say "I am but a mortal man like all of you. It has been revealed unto me that your God is the One and Only God. Hence, whoever looks forward to meeting his Sustainer , let him do righteous deeds, and let him not ascribe unto anyone or anything a share in the worship due to his Sustainer!"
Malik O Muhammad, tell them "I am but a human being like you; the revelation is sent to me to declare that your God is One God; therefore, whoever hopes to meet his Rabb, let him do good deeds and join no other deity in the worship of his Rabb."
Pickthall Say I am only a mortal like you. My Lord inspireth in me that your God is only One God. And whoever hopeth for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work, and make none sharer of the worship due unto his Lord.
Yusuf Ali Say "I am but a man like yourselves (but) the inspiration has come to me that your Allah is one Allah whoever expects to meet his Lord let him work righteousness and in the worship of his Lord admit no one as partner." 2454

Surah 3513 and Surah 3514
Asad He makes the night grow longer by shortening the day, and He makes the day grow longer by shortening the night; and He has made the sun and the moon subservient , each running its course for a term set . 12 Thus is God, your Sustainer unto Him belongs all dominion-whereas those whom you invoke instead of Him do not own so much as the husk of a date-stone!
Malik He causes the night to pass into the day and the day into the night, and He has made the sun and the moon to serve you; each one follows its course for an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Rabb; His is the kingdom; and those to whom you pray besides Him do not even own a thread of a date-stone.
Pickthall He maketh the night to pass into the day and He maketh the day to pass into the night. He hath subdued the sun and moon to service. Each runneth unto an appointed term. Such is Allah, your lord; His is the Sovereignty; and those unto whom ye pray instead of Him own not so much as the white spot on a date stone.
Yusuf Ali He merges Night into Day and He merges Day into Night and He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His Law) each one runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord to Him belongs all Dominion. And those whom ye invoke besides Him have not the least power.Asad If you invoke them, they do not hear your call; and even if they could hear, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will utterly disown your having associated them with God. 13 And none can make thee understand like the One who is all-aware.
Malik If you pray to them they cannot hear your prayers and even if they could hear you they could not answer you. On the Day of Resurrection they will deny your associating them with Allah. O mankind! None can inform you about all this except the One Who is All-Aware.
Pickthall If ye pray unto them they hear not your prayer, and if they heard they could not grant it you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown association with you. None can inform you like Him Who is Aware.
Yusuf Ali If ye invoke them they will not listen to your call and if they were to listen they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgement they will reject your "Partnership." And none (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things. -
I am convinced that many verses say to not pray to anybody except Allah and to seek only protection from Him.
And i believe that in our prayer we should not usu any other names than the name of Allah. But not only Prophets are described, that is my conclusion after reading surah 3720 to 3734. And here we do not read that Allah says praying to my slaves, like in some other verses, he excludes them from going to hell, the ones that are described are the ones who tricked the others and who do not believe that they will get another life and that they will be judged for their deeds. This can be also imams and scholars. This my current understanding.
Yes Brother, it can be prophets, holy men, imams and all other beings a person takes as a conduit when asking for help from our Rabb. Pls refer to AlFatehah, 15, non-compliance thereof means failure
So hanslan, my brother, you were right, but some verses say pray to my slaves in my previous posts and that is praying to prophets. These verses do not speak about Prophets, because they all go to hell, and Prophets of course will not go to hell.
