When I read about the two waters who are seperated by a barrier and do not mix in the Quran, I think of this

...I used to think that too.....yet none of the seas are palatable nor drinkable.
As for the flat earth, it's not a matter of believing, but seeing.

To be honest, nearly the whole of mankind lieing about the roundness of the earth is harder to belief then the actual flat earth theories.
We should really take care of what we uphold. This theories are about accepting or rejecting the creation of our Lord. And do not forget that huge doctrine of misguidance that is being propagated.
It's rather NASA that comes with proof, all what i have seen from flath earthers is some wicked paintings and rubbish video editing which is being mixed with some elements of the Truth.

people are confused in moon landing and flat earth, infact the moon landing there are some discrepencies in it , but its not nasa who doscovered earth is spherical, is ages ago and the experiments are supporting the round earth, quran never ever claim earth is flat..... its spread like carpet, even on a 5 inch tennis ball the manufactures spread first skin like carpet whats so hard to understand...

Interesting Topic.
I was looking into the genesis account in the torah yesterday or the day before.. i am not an expert by any means, in fact i know very little hebrew, but from looking into it word by word with their roots, (albeit i probably missed alot of the grammar, apart from what was evident to me) i came up with this so far
First GOD initiated heavens and land
and land was empty and void. darkness was upon the surface of the deep water. and the breath (Ruh) of GOD passed over the surface of the water
and GOD ordered 'Be light' and light became
and GOD regarded that light was good. and GOD seperated from light out darkness.
and GOD proclaimed the light day, darkness HE proclaimed night.
and GOD ordered 'be expanded the center of the water and be divided between water from water'
and GOD brought forth the expanse, and HE divided between the water which was below from the water which was above. Thus it was
and GOD proclaimed the expanse heavens. there was evening and morning day two
and GOD ordered 'collect the water below the heavens to one place, and see ground come after it'
and GOD proclaimed the ground earth, and the collection of waters he proclaimed sea. and GOD regarded it as good.
and GOD ordered 'earth bring forth green plants, sowing seed, the fruit tree producing fruit a part of itself, every seed which is on the earth'. Thus is washow do you explain the creation of the universe to unlearned nomads?
looking into it, from the first few verses i see a very primordial universe, with some creative thinking, the expanse, and how God ordered the 'intersection' of the water to be expanded could well be an explanation of 'the big bang' as this expanse, as refered to later He proclaimed 'the Heavens'
i think that water in this case is refering to gas. although, prehaps it was water, as i know some gases under alot of pressure become liquid.. i dont realy know
in fact, beyond what is observable, and ponderable of the universe, i know very little about science..
in terms of using such primitive and common terms to describe such an awesome event.. i think that it is likely that this explanation is from God, but the interpretation is quite hard.

very good pointi believe that those who are 'firmly established in knowledge' in the quran has nothing to do with knowledge on a subject, for instance language, but rather those who have true knowledge and understanding of life itself
for someone with an open heart, a few hand gestures is sufficent to explain concepts,
