What is "Alamin". Or better asked, Who is-are ?

QURAN 251 Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion to His slave that he may be a warner to the 'Alamin .
My question is, who are the Alamin? To whom? It doesn't say just mankind. But it uses this specific word instead. And I can see that there aremany verses with this word in it.

Taking a look at PRL, the word has a lot of root meanings (like anything else).
ayn lm mm ( م
= Ayn-Lam-Miim = to mark/sign/distinguish, creations/beings, world, science/learning/knowledge/information, aware/know. By means of which one knows a thing, hence it signifies world or creation, because by it the Creator is known. alim (pl. ulama) - one who is learned/wise or knows.

Creations/beings/worlds sounds suitable in this verse.

The root has a general meaning of "know", but you can use it depending on word for to say learn or teach.
The morphological meaning is "Gain Such Thereof", basically what you can perceive and process. To A'lam something you must comprehend it in full.
Our world that we live in is called Ardh in Arabic, and that basically means 'is visible foundation'. Compared to Asema which means void/ethereal you can probably see the difference. God's Quran often speaks of shaping the Void and Earth, i.e. the matter and what is not matter. You say sky about asema because the sky looks transparent. Your origin is Asema.
