Two Muhammads! can it be?

Salaams all,
If we all consider so many people following the Sunna and so many hadiths depicting the prophet (Muhammad) in a certain way,with a different personALITY ,OR LIFE STYLE, TO THE PROPHET OF THE QURAN.
Can it be possible that a prophet came to the Israelites but due to circumstances the believers were so few and lost the fight ,But then someone else from Mecca ,the Muhammad of the Hadith ,who is also called AMIN a very successful businessman who travelled to syria on his business trips - this is all recorded in the history,came accross the Quran and takes it back and is totally engulfed by his belief that it is authentic starts to study it and practice it but obviously from his own religious point of view.And takes the title Muhammad and does spread the islam which is to his understanding but never alters a word of it as he does believe it to be authentic.
Or can such a big change accur in religion as there is ,no doubt ,between the quran and the Hadith and sunnah without there being two of them!

The name Muhammad, like Ahmed, means "the Praised One." It is more than likely that this was not his initial name, but was the name attributed to him later on in life once he became the recognized prophet to the Arabs. Scholars believe that his childhood name was "Amin," named after his mother "Amina" who died when he was 6 years old.
A further irony in this whole exercise is that Muhammad is not even the name which the prophet grew up with. According to Muslim tradition, in his youth Muhammad was called Amin, a common Arab name meaning "faithful, or trustworthy." Amin was his given name, a masculine form from the same root as his mother's name "Amina."
It was only natural for Khadija to receive her share of the harassment meted to him by none other than those who, not long ago, used to call him al-Sadiq, al-Amin.had earned the honoring titles of al-Sadiq, the truthful, and al-Amin, the trustworthy. Muhammad (pbuh) did not have any practical business experience, but he had twice accompanied his uncle Abu Talib on his trade trips and keenly observed how he traded, bartered, bought and sold and conducted business;
Unfortunatly I am doubting this why - There are only 432 Hdiths of Imam Malik which are the earliest written Hadiths i reckon,so why so few, but Other people who came along hundreds of years after have thousends upon thousends of hadiths ironic -And so Islam changed with time.
