Since the future is not created in advance, no. The future is created "on-the-fly", i.e. when something is determined it is created. However, some event can have been determined, for example, 2500 years ago and occur now, so in this perspective there can be limited predestination. But the result of our testing is NOT predestined.
And it does not make "God" weak because "God" does not know that which "God" has not created... yet.
We roam here on Earth for a purpose and that is a sort of "benchmark" of our capability, and then the Initiator of the test would not know the results or else there is no point in commencing a test in the first place.

"Rule= 2" is there for now.The Moderators make the decisions. If your view is discussed/considered...by the Moderators and the rule changed ,I would not object.
At the end of the day ,This forum is here with the present rules and Moderators. If one is really unhappy,then they can either join another forum that they agree with all its rules or create their own forum to go with their own rules.
I am not saying one should not suggest another view ,but I am offering a quick and immediate answer for them.

I did, and still do, miss Freedomstand. He may have been problematic, but he did contribute something. If I ever wanted any rule changed would have been about that.
This finickinng about innsulting a member or innsulting God, to me looks like an insult to people's intelligence. Go ahead, do not inusult me but insult my mother or my father, or my country, or whatever I value... Somebody here behaves as if he had lost his marbles.
For one, I do not care if anybody insults me. Not I am going to loose something, the same as if anybody insults my mother, God, my country or whatever, it is the object of the forum who suffers, not I or anybody or anythinng I care about. For the moment I am itelligent enough to value things as from where they come. So no trouble with insults for me or for whoever feels like I do, but the object of the forum for sure suffers.
So please, if any rule is going to be changed, bring back Freedomstands, if not, just leave it as it is. I do not think we are in dire need of filling bandwidth with ever so tolerant insults to God, members' fathers, mothers, daughters, dogs, horses or countries, but if we must fill bandwidth I do prefer Freedomstads stuff than tolerant wholesale inulting.
Harshnness of heart is bad, but pity for cheecky characters outpoors is deadly.

It does not matter. Those in charge decide. There is a procedure for complaints.One should read the rules before they join.
No matter how one looks at it, the forum has to have rules and someone in charge.
The most efficient way to change the rules is by mutual consent with the one/s in charge.

But heres the best part, my short interaction with FNM has made me realise that some of us have fallen into the idolatry trap. Some of us are so tuned to defend the Q we forgot what we are actually defending - thus we have made the Q as an idol.

Human tends to idolize something or someone..I personally see there's nothing inherently wrong about it.. as long as they respect the rights of other people to idolize different idol than they are and they don't cross the limit (ie Murder, Oppression, Torture, Invasion)
If their idolatry actually caused them to do good deeds then actually it's good for everyone... -

I find it harder to believe that God would be running a test which God knows the results of already. Talk about inefficient God in that case. Just ditch the undesirable and place people in where they belong, be it terminated or in some kind of primitive garden like cattle. I think I might prefer termination. But was it some sort of agony of meaningless fire then any sane person obviously chooses that primitive garden. I would still feel like cattle kept for no purpose at all except due to megalomania by that god. In that case I would rather be destroyed.
Fortunately the traditional sayings are not the true sayings of the Rabb, so I am aiming towards an ethereal existence and shun that "paradise" which is just an initial trap to distinguish those who enjoy the bodily.

I have to thank the sunni sheik I had for my Sunday school arabic classes. I was around ten years old at the time. This guy was ultra conservative and did everything by the book of sunni teachings. I stumbled upon him and his buddies during a playtime break watching Baywatch in the basement of the masjid while the kids played upstairs. They gave me this sheepish grin and wanted to know if I wanted to watch with them. At that moment I said to myself "F this, I will figure it out on my own."

I was kinda scared of sheikhs. My parents always tried to keep us away from them by saying they run factory of corruption. I do regret not trying to find answers to my questions earlier. Life would have been so different then! But I am still thankful to him now.

True, but insults of that kind usually brings down the quality of the discussion. It makes a forum too hostile for interaction.
One thing I experience after turning to this Islam is embarrassment about what the human race does!

hahaha rotfl there will be a modern court session will be there... with clips recording in which athiest/disbeleivers are claiming things and God will show them , look here is the proof , and then the punishment will be decided for them , hell prison .. a situation fully unhappy...
they will really get jealous when they see the people in heaven with 72 vigirns having a pure wine in hand with a music uncompareable to this world.. having natural disco lights of helium gas ... yay just kidding..

bravo yeh thats the best answer... they need to join a forum in which every body is like their mentality who can mock, joke and abuse God and prophets and scriptures without any fear . and they will find there lot of people like them..

Sincerely no derogatory remarks intended, I was just referencing to the many different backgrounds and styles of communication we have in the forum.
I am also not making any additional rules to the forum, one is free to do as they wish in any thread subject to forum rules.
The reason behind this thread is for us to remind our selves that we are on similar journeys of finding truth and to learn from one another. We can and will differ in opinions. We can have arguments but try to be objective and focus to the topic. Now and then we have contributors who comes in with malice and these should be banned. But before banning someone, let that person present what he wants, that person may or may not learn anything and we may also learn or not learn anything. Most people that come here have issues with faith otherwise why do they come here?
The problem here is the different approach and styles that a contributor comes with. And because of the many different styles and approach it can lead to miscommunication that sometimes lead to unnecessary arguments and not required personal attacks. So one needs to be reminded of the different backgrounds in order not to get offended easily. I am also guilty of this that is why I'm sharing it with all of you.
So far the MODs have done a good job of allowing all the above to take place before banning someone. I guess there is no need for this thread after all.
