QURAN 33:6, Meaning of the verse
-
Muhammad's sawa wifes are our mothers means that we cannot marry them, as explained previously in 3304. We should also respect them as our real mothers, and this is what it means, nothing special with some "divine attributes".
Also "then themselves" can be translated as "their souls" (min anfusahum) and it's not just sharing feelings with him. If we read the Qur'an and think how we can treat our "nafs" (soul) we should do better to him then that.
We also should notice that it's not said "Muhammad is..." nor "Rasulullah is...", it's said "nabiyy is", so we should act regardless that.Allah's bless and salam.
-
I doo not think it is because we cannot marry them that they ar mothers of the believers, because it is not that the believrs are only men and not women, or would they not be mothers of the believing women?
If we think that of the prophet it is said that he is not the father of any of them, there must be to something else.

It's not said that his wifes are mothers for both believing men and believeng women, only for believing men, cause they were mentioned before this and "ummahatuhum" is in masculine form.
This is similar as muslim women are called "sisters" by muslim men, which is wrong and can be haram too. They're led with ayat in which is said that BELIEVERS (male) are brothers. It's not said that believing men and believing women are brothers and sisters.
If some men is calling some women "sister", the question is can he marry her?Anyways, this means that prophet's sawa wifes are mothers for believing men (only) and that means they should respect them as mothers, which includes that they cannot marry them. Please, read 3304 also, where "dhihar" is mentioned.
Allah's bless and salam.

So the rohet is only closer to the believing men than their own selves and not to the believing women.
Really, really, so that is msculin form? Really, really, so when The rophet or God address the believrs it is only the men they are addressing? Or are ignorant. The gramaticaal forms which name or addres the masculine are just similar to the address and gramatical forms for groups that comprise women as well as men. You cannoot make masculine for your convenience. When the believers ar eaddressed or mentionned it is both genders.
And in that aya the whole thing concerns boh me and women. So te ohers of the believers are the mothrs of all believers not just of the male believers, just as the prohet is rophet for all the believers not just for the male believers. If only men were meant it would have ben showed by anohr form and there is not need to call the wives of the prophet the mohers of men only or the purpose that yous tate, because it is already clear in another aya that they are prohibited from marrying the prophet's wives at this death, no need to say it again by such ciercuitous way. But it rally shows the stardom complex of some "Muslims".

My dear brother,
starting ayats of this surah are for men only, but later, as in 3333, Allah swt is talking about females only or both males and females.
I think you missed ayat about zihar 3304 or 5802-04. I know that you shouldn't believe me, so try to see it yourself, but don't reject before you think about these. There's nothing "divine" in his wives, as you can read in many other ayats. Some of them are presented very bad to us. Anyways, we should respect them as our mothers and not talk offensive to them (I hope we all respect our mothers).
If we read 3304 and 3305 we should see that it's for males only, and 3306 is for males only too, it's a continuation.Once more, "mothers" doesn't mean marriage only, they should be as our real mothers in all cases, marriage is just one of them. If you understood it different, I have nothing against it. We all have our 'iman, but, at least, we all should follow and obey same deen.
Allah's bless and salam.

Agaib, unless thre is in it a clear indication that only men are addressed or soken about, it is about both sexes.
aya 6. Throphet is closer to he believers than their own selves... this is not only about men, it is both and what follows it is also for both, because no specific mention is made restriting it to males. and what follows in 7 is again the same. I is addressed to the rophert but to mke it known to all women and men. And then in aya 9. "Oh you who believe". How cn you come to the wird conclusion that till aya 33 no women are meant. ?My God!

My dear brother,
as said in 3304, these ayats are about "rajul", which should be understand as "man" only. It can't mean man and woman. Then, in the same ayat, Allah swt is talking about "azwajukum", which means "your wives" and it's obvious again that this is about men only. Ayat ends with step-sons and the next one is continuing with same, so this is about men only again.
Then comes 3306 which has no indication that addressing is changed (as in 3309).I said that 3333 is different then these ayats, 3304-06, because in its first part Allah swt is talking to women only and then the both men and women, using male plural. We cannot understand from 3333 only if it's about men only or men and women together, but if we read other ayats about "purity" we can conclude right.
Similarly, to understand what is in 3306 we can read previous ayats (3304-05), from which we can understand that it's all about men only, and since it's not changed we should conclude that it's same in 3306 - men only. 5802-04 are talking about zihar too, which can explain "mothers".
Anyways, I won't answer again on this. You can have any opinion you like, I don't wanna argue. Sorry, I was just trying to help.
Allah's bless and salam.

So then he Prophet is closer the believing women than their own selves yes or no?
And only the blod relations amongst each other that are males hav closer personal ties tha with muhajirs but that is not the case if they are women?
And do what is just to your closeest friends is what is written only for males but not or women?
lease answer all those.
And going back to 4. Are adopted children only not to be called sons by males but for women they are not adoted they are real sons?
You see what you say has not a leg to stand on, and again that believing men are forbidden to marry the prophets wives in another aya in precise those terms without havin to contrive any motherhood in order to set such prohibition.
What makes you so sure, even if there is no exception for the wome and no explicit rstriction to the males that God has not meant at all that the porphets wives be considered mothers of the believers men and women. You see to forbid any man from marrying them he does not need to call them their mothers. He is quite eblo to forbid such a thing without calling them anything at all.
Don't tell me I may believe whatever I want, I know that, just answer those questions, if you do want to helpt as you say.

Since this is not just talking about the previous, I'll answer D
I'm not saying anything about deen rules from just one ayat, I was just talking what is told in one ayat and ayat around it. So, to answer all your questions we have to look at all ayats with topics you asked. But, I'll just answer your questions
- this is not said in 3306, but maybe there's some other ayat?!
So then he Prophet is closer the believing women than their own selves yes or no? - please quote ayat you're talking about, this is not in 3306
And only the blod relations amongst each other that are males hav closer personal ties tha with muhajirs but that is not the case if they are women? - same as 2)
And do what is just to your closeest friends is what is written only for males but not or women? - this is not said in 3306, but maybe there's some other ayat?!
Are adopted children only not to be called sons by males but for women they are not adoted they are real sons?
This is all if "rajul" means only man and not woman, if it can mean woman also then I misunderstood this ayats, may Allah swt forgive me.
Btw, I have nothing against believeng women, they're my awliya'u, I just can't tell what I can't see. Anyways, I may be wrong, but if I'm wrong what's correct and why.
Oh, yes, and I don't understand your point, why you're arguing? How you understand this "your mothers"? I have to tell you again, please read this mothers is not just to forbid marriage with them, it's to treat them as mothers, marriage is just one of these obligations. There're, for example, people who will tell that some of them will burn in Hell, but this is not the language for our mothers, isn't it? We should respect them, before other things...Allah's bless and salam.

0H, how ice of you to respect the wives of the prophet... So moving...
But letme see according to what you say, it is not just for not marrying them, it is to treat them with good manners and all that, and of course men could do that, tret them well, so that is why they are the mothers of the men believers, but women cannot treat with good manners the wives of the prophet, is that right? and that is why the wives of the prohet cannot be the mothers of the women believers, is that it?
For all your seemingly polite words, I think you are just trying to make fun of people, I do not think you can be so incapable and obtuse and so women blind and so Qur'an blind as you give yourself to be.
- this is not said in 3306, but maybe there's some other ayat?!
-
I'm really sorry for your opinion about me.
I don't know if prophet's sawa wifes are mothers to believing women, but I don't see it was said in this ayat. All I see is that Allah swt was talking about "zihar" and he explained, as part of it, about "our mothers". Obviously, women won't marry them, and they're not part of zihar from these ayats.
Anyways, I won't commend further, because it's leading to some not good situation. I'm really sorry for misunderstanding, I had no bad intentions. For your comment that I am trying to make fun of people, I'll just point to what is said in 267 and I pray to Him with same words as Moosa as.
Allah's bless and peace.

The Elevated, Distinct and Chosen Allegiant is more dear and revered with the true believers than their Selves;
And his wives are their mothers.
Take note, the holders of womb's relationship some are in worldly matters nearer-preferable than others as laid down in the Book of Allah the Exalted;
From amongst the believers and emigrants except that you conduct to your kin in a decent recognized manner.
This is what has been prescribed in writing in the Book.
