So the "may Allah forgive you" was just a friendly note and had nothing to do with using big numbers?
btw I read a couple of your posts and I did not understand much of them, should we discard these informations of yours?
Yes, my brother, you should discard everything you don't understand, we all should. But, of course, we all can believe what we want to believe. This is only for a belief ('iman), it's not for deen, which all should obey.
Yes, "may Allah forgive you" was a friendly prayer for a brother. I didn't want to comment about the light and numbers, but when he compared Qur'an with DNA I had to.Allah's bless and salam.

Then I am afraid we will not learn much from each other. We can at least try to understand what the other is talking about no? We might neglect some value information.

Ok then I totally misunderstood.
Salaam and welcome to the forum handshake

Thank you for your welcome. handshake
To teach something from each other at least on of us should be "mua'llim" for some topic, which means that (s)he has to posses 'ilm (knowledge) and is able to teach others. But if others are not understand they can learn nothing, right? It's good we can ask for further explanations, it may help to understand. I don't understand why you asking this? You are accepting what you can't understand, or?I answered only the first part of your question about the huge numbers. There's nothing bad in "may Allah forgive you", we all can forget, and brother probably forgot that we should talk only what we understand, and we can't understand "light years" for sure.
Good night to all from Serbia, have a nice day/night.
Allah's bless and salam.

Believing in information from fasiqoon is a sin, may-be fisq too.
Have you read the entire Grand Qur'aan just once even?
This is because you are calling everyone else in 6/2 billion people as fasiq other than you and believers? Did Allah the Exalted, the Fountain of Knowledge ever said this?
-
Mazhar, you probably know that Qur'anic language is not Arabic, so translation to any language is not possible, unless one knows its language.
I most certainly know the Grand Qur'aan is in Arabic language, the language of Peninsula of Arabia and mother tongue of exalted Messenger Muhammad sas.

Fasiq is well explained in detailed Qur'an, as anything else, but I hope you understand what was said there, at least something. No, not all of non-believers are fasiqoon.
You're saying I'm not a believer? And you think I'm jahil?
OK, I'll try last time to explain you about sihr which blinded you.
You know for the term "burooj fi-sama'". As you wrote on your page, you understood this as "asteroids". This cannot be told unless somebody is a liar or under the sihr or that person is mad. I don't see you as a liar, nor as a mad-man, so I have to look at you as somebody under sihr. It's nothing ubnormal nowadays, because most of the people are under sihr. How can I claim this, for you and most of the humanity?
You should know from 1516 that "burooj fi-sama'" have to be something beautiful to one who's looking at them. So, have you ever saw asteroids? Do you know somebody trustful who saw asteroids? Where from you got "the knowledge" about the asteroids? Is it something from the Qur'an or people named something? Did any of ancient Arabs told about asteroids? Has Muhammad Mustafa sawa mentioned them? Has Ibrahim as, who was shown Malakut of the Heavens and the Earth, told you about asteroids? Did any of believers told you about them, from 'ilm from Allah swt? Have you ever asked yourself did these informations I got come from above, or they came from my sides, from behind or infront of me?You're blinded by something which evil men named by nice name - science. There's a science, but theories are not science, "theretical science" is not a science, it's sihr. There's knowledge also, but assumptions and opinions are not the knowledge. As "The First Teacher, Aristostle said "There cannot be both opinion and knowledge of the same thing at the same time". Btw, Aristotle was mentioned in the Qur'an I read, but it seems we're not reading same Kitab, or we're not reading it in the same language Leave translations, they're not Kitab.
So, about your topic... what is your proof about "black holes", or anything else you mentioned from NASA and Co.? I don't need any, and I hope no man need it, but if you think about it maybe Allah swt leads you to 'ilm and maybe, if you accept that 'ilm, you can believe in it by His 'izn.
I'm really sorry for offensive words I caused from you, but it's the only way sometimes. I pray for both of us and all other believers and Muslims, for khayr with which He's satisfied.
Allah's bless and salam.

You read the Book under your own thoughts, not according to words of the Book. It is about the sky not the Barooj.
No, my brother, you're wrong again
Yes, it was said that the sky is beautiful to one who's looking at it/them, but what makes it beautiful are burooj, not sama' itself. Burooj are all masabih in sama', not asteroids. Allah swt called them burooj, because they're so high, out of our reach.
Please, think about your knowledge, not from the Qur'an (which is not the Book, but it's Kitab), outside of it. I see you as a clever one, probably wise also, just don't go astray.
Btw, burooj is a word, burooj fi-sama' is a term, there's a difference.
Allah's bless and salam.

Again it is rendered self evident that you wish not to listen the Book but to your own thouhgts.
Barooj are not mentioned for beautification of the Sky of Earth.

Clean your eyes, my dear brother. You quoted all from Kitab you need to see what burooj means. It's not something special and different from masabih, it's just their other name (property), identification. Burooj are beautiful, and burooj and masabih are two names for the same, as many things (and Allah Himself) can be named by their multiple attributes. Masabih (or misbah in singular) is not the name of some unique celestial bodies (body), it's just their property they were called after. Same is with burooj, it's just the name from their property.
Anyways, I won't argue with you, it was nice to talk with you. I hope you'll at least think about all ayats about this topic ONLY from Allah's Kitab.
Allah's bless and salam.

Now you have exposed yourself that you have yet to learn about types of nouns. Descriptive nouns is a different entity. Barooj is not a word that describes property or feature of something.

What's your mizan? Lane's lexicon? D
I like you, but I can't talk as you want, only by Mizan I accepted. I'm really off of this topic, I hope we can discuss somewhere else, but try to be nice(r) and not to judgeBtw, it's burooj, not barooj.
Allah's bless and salam.
