We know God controls everything so why are people still suffering.Even children?

Nothing can happen without Allah's 'izn (permission).
To understand this we should read Allah's Names (and Attributes) and think about Them.
We should also know that this world (existance) is just a phase in our life, as the phase was before we were born. We should strive to posses as possible from these Attributes. Thinking about Them should help us to understand answers to your questions.

God gave us free will. We can't blame him for all the problems caused by humans. God guarantees us a happy life if we simply follow His commandments (verses 1697 and verses 1062-64). But the majority of people do not even believe (12103) and the majority of the believers commit shirk/idol worship/polytheism (12106) without even realizing it and the majority of muslims have already deserted the Quran (2530) and traded it for blindly following their sects/madhhabs, clergymen/scholars and hadith/hearsay. The majority doesn't use their own God-given intellect/reasoning.

Quran 10100 "...and He will place defilement/wrath upon those who will not use reason."

Quran 1442 "And do not think that God is unaware of what the wicked do. He is merely delaying them to a Day when all eyes are watching."

753 Does man think that We will not gather his bones?
754 Indeed, We were able to make his very fingertips. (think about this verse why God say fingertips,the earliest form of id, even the twins have different fingertips)..

6165 He is the One who made you successors on earth, and He raised some of you over others in grades,
to test you with what He had given you. Your Lord is quick to punishment, and He is Forgiving, Compassionate.

1021 When We cause people to taste of mercy after they have suffered a hardship, they start scheming to defy Our commands. Say, ?God is Swift in planning. Our couriers write down what you plot.?

There is ample farmland to feed every man, woman, and child alive today. This is what Allah has provided to us. As Allah made mankind the khilafa of Earth, the question isn't why Allah is allowing starvation, but rather, the question is why is mankind not acting as a proper khilafa and distributing what Allah has provided to us in ample quantity? The food is there, all mankind has to do is pass it out.

You may ask, as the malaika asked Allah, why He would put those who would corrupt as the khilafa. You can read Allah's response in Quran.

Starving to death because they simply can not afford to buy something that comes from the earth. If you say the devil is at work but god created everything. SO WHY WOULD HE CREATE SOMETHING HE CANNOT CONTROL AND ALLOW THE DEVIL TO CAUSE PAIN, PROVERTY, CONFUSION, STARVATION, INNOCENT LIVES BEING TOOK, CHILDREN BEING MOLESTED, WAR, DEBT, FALSE BELIEFS. THE GOVERNMENT PUTS "IN GOD WE TRUST" ON MONEY

So if he can, so he still doesn't interfere ?

there are lot of people who are playing a honest role of khalifa... a recent example is mr edhi...

some people when come in charge distribute whatever they can... on other hand there are also evil doers who hold the provisions of God... that what we say business... and the khalifat/succession/caretaking change the shape into business...

People want it both ways. They reject GOD and blame him at the same time!!! It does not make sense
Forgive my words in brackets, or ignore them altogether,but they are my understanding of why disasters exist.

1331Even if a Koran ( or any scripture from GOD) caused mountains to move or the earth to tear asunder. or the dead to speak. ( The majority of people will not believe in it!) Those who believe will need to realise that if GOD willed, HE could have guided all the people.( But every individual needs to make that decision by himself, GOD will not force you to believe; Even though) GOD controls all things.The disbelievers ( and idol worshippers) will continue to suffer disasters as a consequence of their own works. ( and bad decisions! If you do not want GOD -your creator- to be part of your life, do not blame HIM for your disasters!) Or have disasters strike close to them. ( because of what others, close to them ,are doing- the decisions they are taking-) Until GOD s promise is fulfilled. GOD will never change the predetermined destiny.( Every human is allowed a lifetime- Short or long- to make their own decision!)

With GOD No disasters/sufferings...etc.
Without GOD disasters/sufferings...etc crated by bad decisions /injustice/oppression...

Why should only good things happen to people, independetly of whether they have caused them with their actions or not?

On the other hand if only good things happen how are we sure that some of them by comparison would not be consideed bad. Bad only exists as a term for comparison with other tings that we like more. Wewould want that only the best would happen to us and not just good.

Bad has to happen to us in order to taste this world where God has put us. That is the way it is and if there are things in it we do not like we must not forgt that we are promised eternal blessings if we are patient.

nd is not relief at getting out of bad things a blessing and one most good feelings we can have. How would we experience the hapinness of improvment if nothing was ever to our displeasure?

Interference by God? Of course, but most do not see it happening - bigger interference you can read from old civilisations and what happened to them.

As for our civilisation - we have been given time and until the appointed time it remains like it is or we can decide to change the world to be a better place - it is still up to us given the freedom we have - sadly most remain not committed to any cause except self preservation. Somehow the human race has surrendered to its own weakness. And one of the big weakness is to blame God for everything.
