Considering tensions between the U.S and Russia, China, and Iran , there would be no doubt that ww3 would come true. So just wondering if it would happened would you serve and of you asked me I am conflicted with this issue since it is not a war for the sake pf God so I dont think I can.
Add Saudi and Israel to the mix, the mortal enemy of Iran...

Society is a contract. If that contract includes a military draft, either be prepared to honor that social contract, or find a different society. It isn't honest to take the good things that a society offers and to not help that society when asked.

I don't favor a draft--it is a theft of labor and creates more problems than it solves. If the military were to offer $100,000 a year, would there be any shortage of labor even during conflict? hmm Many of those that support the idea of a draft are themselves exempt--but would never willingly put themselves in that position. In other words, hypocrites.
There are often other options to military service during a draft, such as Civilian Public Service or Alternative Service Program. There are also non-combat jobs within the armed services, such as chaplains and medics.
I'm already military, and I'd do my duty. If I were not military and were drafted, I would likewise do my duty.
Military service provides opportunities to help others and prevent excesses as well as the potential to do harm. The only orders that I follow are those that are ethical, legal, and moral--and those are the only orders anyone should ever follow.
As for danger, death will come for us when it is our time.

I don't think I'm meant for war.
Having said that, if I had to participate, I would want to stand on the side of justice. I would want to make sure, if at all possible, that no innocent men, women or children were being attacked or killed, for example. If I discovered injustice, I would want to cease involving myself if I was able to do so. That's a big if though when talking about WWIII. -\
I would also want to be far far away from any battlefield. I'll take any other military job. Just not being in the actual battle / war zone.

Things have got so far that nobody need to be drafted to go to war. War is brought no to our doorsteps but right into our kitches and livingroms. Better than any delivery service from supermrkets or restaurants. It is well known for a long time now that war mkes most of its victims amongst the civilian population. It is made deliberately so.
On the other hands politics and interess ar nowadays (may be it hs always been so) so intertwined that there may be no way to find out on which side justice is. Probably in no side, but on the other hand. What must be avoided by common people is that such common people descends into abysses of cruelty or disregard for their fellowbeings, and that is also made very, very, very difficult.

despite the so call civilisation of humankind in the last 100 years, no country Or no one has come out with a law that is given to the general public to oppose the call for war. BUT INSTEAD we are still living in a civilisation where our individual rights are given away to self serving politicians who calls for war.
Why can't we the majority be united and force the world to a stand still and let all wars be stopped???
Oh yeah I forgot, its wishful thinking because the majority will never act even to save themselves due to fear of the unknown. The majority will never vote for change because change will bring the unknown instead of the evil that has surround us since we have ever existed. Peace is something unfamiliar thus the majority will never go for it.
In that case, if Im drafted, i assure you i will try to have the best time of my life killing people, otherwise be kill.

It is very likely that a new world war might occur.
I will not be picking sides but continue on my own path. I have been told not to pick a side. The source told me that the one who arms up will be crushed. It is a futile conflict. Remain neutral.
It also seems likely that it will be including nuclear warheads so perhaps there will be a nuclear winter. I try to prepare for the worst. I have thought of buying radiation suits in case of. I follow the news in the world very closely and see the accelerated tensions. The 'European Union' seems to be showing signs of collapsing. Russia seems to be behave provocatively as if just trying to find an excuse to launch a conquest. North Korea is let to continue their idiocy without anyone stopping them despite that the country could be easily beaten before they have too many nuclear weapons and missiles to carry the bombs. A crazy man by the name of Donald Trump is trying to seize control in the United States and even if he does not manage and that such a man could reach this far despite being an utter joke (who would vote for this guy to begin with?) is a sign that something is definitely wrong.
And then we have the cancer by the name of Islam in the world too which causes mental retardation in people because its interpreters do not even understand the word means soundness (as in sanity and good well-being) rather than submission.
In the end I think people will fight each other from right to left believing in their own deluded cause.

How can one even think about participating in a war? How can you justify, killing of people? For what cause? Because you believe your nation is better than others ? Because you believe your religion is better than others?
We all humans stuck in this place and cant get along for Gods sake.

Remember when most of the North- African and Middle-Eastern Nations declared war to the Nation of Israel? It was just in the 90's by the way, and Israel defeated all those nations. Unprepared.

According to current law which came as a result of the two presidents having daughters only, women can't be drafted to fight in the war. What this means is that since I am a female, I am spared.
I truly believe humans are capable fixing things without any killings and wars. They just need to try it.

Wars are nOt there to solve problems but togain or assert power. And many times for those attacked it is not a matter of going to war but whether let others kill you without fighting or defende yourslef.
