    1. What is shape of anything?
    2. What is straight line? What is travelling?
    3. Is motion of the Sun "trail" of its fulk?
    4. The Sun is too far away to be visible or the Sun is near so it's visible constantly during some periods of year in some parts of the Earth. The Sun light is finite as most of the light we can see, but not all.

The above is possibly the poorest answer I've ever read on the forum. In any case, you disproved yourself by attempting to answer (4) because when the sun is not visible at the pole it is present elsewhere on earth meaning it cannot be too far away. I'm not interested in reading any more of your nonsense regarding this issue.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

What you assumed is that the sunlight has no reach, it can travel forever. And, indeed, there's some light which is present everywhere. The light is not travelling and the light has its reach, except noor Which is (from) Allah.
Even many of flatearthers have belief same as this (about unlimited sunlight travel), which is a proof against them.

Anyways, if you try to calculate the distance to the Sun you can be surprised with the result you can get. Since, I can't accept data from bogus sciences I can't use them as any proof, but I recently calculated the distance between capital of my country Belgrade (which is on near 45 degrees north) and the Sun during equinoxes. I got around 13.000 km as a result, for the Sun at 69 degrees on the noon and 4988 km distance from Belgrade to Equator. But, you can use any data you like for any place on the Earth and do calculations then we can discuss about the distance between the Sun and the Earth, no matter what we claim about its shape. Otherwise, our discussion wouldn't be with ma'roof.

I wasn't joking for the answers for your questions 1-3, I just wanted you to be sure that you understand your questions. When I discarded all but the knowledge I understood from Allah's Qawl, I discarded defitions I used before, so I won't comment definitions as "shape", "straight line", and so on, unless I'm sure that I'm talking with the person with same or similar understanding of these. Otherwise, if we're talking what we don't know and if we're using names which can't be attached to anything real we'll be amongs jahiloon.

What I've found interesting for your 4th question is the story about "full night". There's no "full night" anywhere on the Earth and this creates confusion to most of the people when they read about it. The confusion is due to our understanding the terms "day" and "night". Most of us think that "day" and "night" are products of the sunlight, but that's not the case. If we "read" the Qur'an (or People of Kitab their books) we can most certainly recognize that the night, the day, the Sun and the Moon has their own "fulk", and we'll see that the Sun is ayat of the day, and the Moon is the ayat of the night, and that Allah swt created

      1. night
      2. day
      3. the Sun
      4. the Moon.
So, we're forgetting that the day exists independant of the Sun, and the night also. When the people in northern Norway, for example, see some light during the winter, during "full night" time, it's not the sunlight, it's daylight. This is happening every day, because every day is daytime + nighttime.
Forgetting about the day and the night are Allah's swt creations leads many of us to be jahiloon for our fasting, people don't know time for their fast. It's interesting also that the words for "day" and "river" are very similar.

I'm really sorry, my intention was not to offend you nor to make fun on you. This is a very serious topic and we should talk only what we're sure in. Allah swt asked from us many times to think about what we see in the Sky and on the Earth.

      Allah's bless and selam.

        Peace Aladin.

Are you going against Qoran here, quote

So, we're forgetting that the day exists independant of the Sun, and the night also

The sun has everything to do with night and day
        911
By the sun and its brightness.

        912
        The moon that follows it.

        913
        The day that reveals it.

        914
        The night that covers it.

Qoran is clearly saying the sun defines/makes... day and night!

        GOD bless you.
        Peace.

          peace GL,

let assume for a second earth is flat ,

ok i have another question the distance between north america(alaska) and russia is about 53 miles and there are some small islands between them which make the distance between these two nations approx 4 km .. is it possible on flat earth ?

flat earther can only fit one theory .. russia is a country that flow to europe from west and europe flows to america to west... and america flows to russia to west ... west =west=west you are on the same point ... its mean it cannot possibly flat ..

aww i forget may b there is a icewall in these 4 km which make it impossible for us to travel through that zone hmm

My dear brother, as you know for sure, the word used is "jellaha" and, as you know, it doesn't mean "defines" nor "makes". It can mean "reveals", as in translation you used.
So, no, I'm not going against the Qur'an when I say that the day doesn't depend of the Sun. Daylight is not from the sunlight. I told about a few ayats you can think, if you want...

            Allah's bless and selam.

Btw, good logic, it is said that the day "jellaha" the Sun, not opposite, if you misunderstood it.
So, the Sun is "jellaha" during the day(time), which can also be the proof that the Sun's fulk is within day's fulk (which is), as the Moon's fulk is within night's fulk. This is why they're (the Sun and the Moon) ayats of the day and the night. So, when we see the Sun we know for sure that it's daytime, and when we see the Moon is the night for sure.

This is good information to know, because, as I said, many people don't know how much they should fast, even Allah swt told us. We should fast till the night... and we don't know how to recognize it, because we're confused with the Sun (which is not mentioned in ayat about the fasting time). Anyways, maybe this can help.

              Allah's bless and selam.

Brother, the sun and its "Brightness". The sun s brightness reveals the day!!!!

Yu are complicating things. It is so simple

1- When the sun is above the horizon ,it is day.
2- When the sun is below the horizon( covered) it is night.

                  A clear definition from Qoran.

Other than that, I do not understand what you mean by "opposite"?If you mean the day exist without the sun ,then you must be living in a different universe/system than us!
                  GOD bless you.

                          Peace.

No, my brother, the word "jellaha" has the day as its doer and "ha" at the end refers to the object of that act. It's feminine as the Sun (esh-Shems), so it's obvious that the Sun is being revealed by the day. I don't think that anybody who has at least minimum knowledge of Qur'anic lisan can tell you different.

You're confusing yourself... when the Sun is over horizon it's a day, for sure, because the Sun is day's ayat. But the day is also when the Sun is not over horizon, for example before the sunrise or after the sunset for some time.

Sometimes, when the Sun is over horizon (it's visible) it can be night time also, if you think. Remember that the Moon is night's ayat? Can we see the Moon and the Sun same time?

Please, for your sake, discard all the informations and definitions you got from fasiqoon and kadhiboon and try to think about Allah's ayats only, those in the Qur'an and all others. You'll see how's different the real knowledge from Him then opinions we accepted from others.

Just think what is day and what is night. It seems so simple to answer, but is it? Nothing is simple in shirk, because it's mixing the truth with lies, and we are doing shirk many times without notice, just because we're not thinking. I'm sorry if I offended you, this is the case of almost all of us humans.

Seek a refuge by Allah swt, read last 3 surahs and then think about all of his ayats about any topic. By His Help you'll get near to the knowledge, and you'll be satisfied and He'll be satisfied, if He wills so.

                          Allah's bless and selam.

Sorry brother. I do not see it your way. You are defying the norm and claiming you know Qoran?

If GOD has shown you, then what is it you do not really see in daylight? The sun? What is it that you see? The clouds covering it? But it is still day!!! Not night!!
Anyway have it your way. What can I say? Your Qoran says whatever you believe then.

Which "norm" I (personally) defined? I'm just saying that definitions we accepted are not good, they're not real and they're not what we can read in the Qur'an. These are (some of) definitions I see as false ones

                              1. the day starts with sunrise
                              2. the night starts with sunset
                              3. if we see the Moon during the day it doesn't mean it's night also.

I'm not asking from you or anybody else to believe in anything, but I see as a good logic to think about ayats about these definitions.
It's very hard to discard what we already accepted and to recognize we were fooled. Just follow what you accept as truth.
I'm really sorry, these seems as very easy questions, but they're very hard. I hope you'll reach them soon.
