Whoever thinks Salaat is not ritual prayer. Please read this and speak!

Peace to every being!

However something is still unclear for me. If the Quran is "all-inclusive", exhaustive and answer all the questions (as stated by Allah in the Book), why do you consider the Sunnah and it's teachings essential for a muslim?
Mine is not a provocative question, it's just a question made by someone who is ignorant about the subject and would like to learn and understand your positions.
We hold responsibility for every action and word we produce.
God is the Best!

Those who do not believe in a regular timed/actioned salat usually fall into three groups
- they do not mention and/or are unaware of the verses/problems listed in that article
- they attempt to explain away some of the issues and ignore the others
- they attempt to explain away all the verses/problems and are forced to throw Quranic grammar, logic, evidence, and cross-referencing in the bin in order to do so.
The Quranic evidence is overwhelmingly in favour of a regular timed/actioned salat for the mumineen/believers.
-
what is your thought about the number of prayers? do you believe in 3 or 5 ? and what about the execution of the traditional ritual?(the way is performed)
-
I always liked that website, it was one of the initial sources of info I got when I was on my journey to reject hadiths.
Though the points stated on the website that the salat is a physical ritual can all be looked at with a different point of view. Anyways I'm still not sure what it means to be honest
-
I forgot to add another group, so 4 altogether
- they do not consider those verses applicable to believers of today. This of course begs the question, do they have a objective/robust/verifiable method of differentiating between verses that are applicable today and those that aren't.

a regular timed/actioned salat for the mumineen/believers
Timed salat exists, but whether its been done regularly in traditional manner is the question. Opponent of Shafi told him
It leads to from one serious issue to another. Then he said
Whoever does what required him as salat and
gives the minimum as zakat- has performed his duty. There is
no established time for that, whether he prays two rak4at- every day,
or he said, every few days. Moreover, he says, ?Whatever is not in
the Book of God is not required of anyone.?37 -
Salaat means to read the Quran at specific times. The word sujud means to acknowledge. This is my understanding at the moment. Cross reference all salaah and sujud at openburhan.com to arrive at your own understanding. Good luck!

Salam
Salat has a wide meaning but loosely I understand it as commitment or responsibility.
In the Quran there are salat that are ritually performed being specific communication with our Maker = commitment that are ritually performed.
Of course you can have constant (or ad-hoc) communication with the Maker which is even better to help through every second of living, but that is another practice, some call it commitment (again for believers) and thus become part of their salat.
To my understanding, these are at 2 ends of the day between night to day (fajar) and day to night (Isya', both periods closer to the night i.e the prescribed period is called 'wusta' the period in between.
As far as I believe the commitment is only for those who believe and can be performed in any manner convenient to the performer - the longest period will take the whole of 'wusta' being the period of interchange between night to day and vice versa.
There's another one usually called 'tahajjud' - a commitment to read the Quran during the night time.
These three commitments are for the self to develop. The difference between the 1st two and the 3rd is duration and content. The 1st two is specific in content whilst the 3rd is not specific because its a commitment to study the Quran. If anyone wants to perform physical exercises whilst performing the 1st two (the formal motions taught in books) can go ahead as long as the actions does not take away focus. Performing salat whilst driving is not a good idea because of focus, on a camel maybe ok.
Of course there are other salat or commitments - holding the 10 commandments in the Quran and developing oneself in accordance to one's understanding of the Quran (not others' otherwise one can easily be a hypocrite) and day to day commitments to run our lives through life.
The Quran is a personal manual to self salvation, one can ask others for opinion but what is judged is based on one's understanding and actions, not others.
What is not right today is enforcing something that is not formal into something that is formal and forcing people to salat whilst the action itself is voluntary and for those who believe.

Why does the Quran call the Gospel a Guidance and a Light?
Because we can find Guidance and Light in it.
Those who want to understand how to pray, feel free to read this chapter of the Gospel.
An English translation of the Gospel - Matthew 61 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth
4 That thine alms may be in secret and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The light of the body is the eye if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No man can serve two masters for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. -

9 After this manner therefore prayProseuche () is the Greek word for "pray" in the Gospel, and if you look at it having in mind how photographic Greek language is, you will find easily what it means
Pros (towards) eu (good) cheo (fill, disperse, scatter, pour).
From this the word "euche" was first and it means "will", "desire" and "wish", something like "fill me good" or "pour onto me good" and thus "supplicate"
If you add the prefix "pros" is means "I wish/ask/supplicate good to (God)".
This word was used for praying to the gods of the Pantheon by ancient Greeks when it meant just "supplicate". Only later Christianity derivated it into the meaning of "worship" or "adoration".
For early Christians praying was nothing more that asking God, nothing to do with rituals or fixed praying statements as the Pater Noster / read in Mathew. In early Christianity prayer was just a practice of "asking" / "supplicating" / "praying to" God. Deeds are even more important, if you think of it.
Salat is a richer and more complete and holistic word and exceeds the Greek one. This is my opinion.
Salaaaaaaaaaam

And yet I cannot see it has to do with prayer, whatsoever.

And yet I cannot see it has to do with prayer, whatsoever.
May the Lord grant you your eyesight, why don't you read the chapter again and may the Lord protect you against the accursed devil and the whisperers of the devils and from coming closer to you.
In near the middle of the chapter the Messiah explained how we should pray.
The point is, what do you have to do with prayer and not what the Gospel haves to do with prayer. And i am not even going to argue with you anymore if you are rejecting the word of God.

I have no quarrel with Mr. Jesus. I was replying about the word salat.
I am denying the sectarian interpretation of Quran, but that is not something I consider to be God's word. Your opinion if you consider me to be rejecting God's word.
Be well

This week alone i shared more then hundred of verses with you?
It's time for me to move on.
Do not stand in my way when i am preaching the Gospel, or else i will know how to deal with you.

Your parroted verses have not had any relevance to the point that I made. Do you lack the wits to be able to understand my simply formulated point?
I am pointing out that the Biblical Gospels are NOT as a doctrine compatible with the one of Quran, at least how you people interpret it. You have not dealt with the points I made previously but just given me random quotes irrelevant to them. And in that I can stand in your way because I have shown the inconsistency in your stance.
If anyone is "bla bla bla" it is you.
Please answer the points that I made rather than posting any more unrelated verses.
