Contribution, good deeds, purification
-
Salam,
I decided that we should make a huge list of ways each member here, (or any idea), contributes, does good deeds, purification and so, e.g. deeds that you're doing in the cause of God. Ideas are welcome too!
For now, I need ideas, I really feel deprived of doing good in a society full of wickedness and devils. It's that feeling when you're constantly angry and it's really hard to do good if you know what I mean brickwall brickwall brickwall brickwall
Brainstorm!

It is better that you learn to control your anger than doing good. This is more developmental for you.

I feel it's always better to explain your reasoning. When I first read that I was like "again with that development stuff he keeps talking about" but once I thought about it, it made sense that doing good in the end is useless since the whole universe will end and people we help will die eventually. That, controlling anger is part of mastering the body and strengthening the spirit. Am I right?!

Salam,
I should have formulated more precise. I'm not committing evil, and I have good control over my anger, I don't take it out. I do good, but it's very little now, how can you do good with people who are wicked? I would give charity seems like the only good deed one can do in this wicked world, but I myself need charity in a few weeks rotfl rotfl

Sorry to ask, but why is your situation so bad?

No need to be sorry brother! I don't know, perhaps a test. It's really hard getting a job where I live, especially if you're an immigrant and without education and contacts. I'm very sure it's a test from God, including homelessness;
2155 And We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage
in money and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who
are patient.Salam

Leaving up ones own ego is the first step, then goodness, purification and peace will automatically happen. difficult to list the common goodness in this world as deed's result of goodness and bad are relative to one other, so make our self pure, ask for knowledge, forgiveness and go low before Him. We will be blessed.

I hope all turns out well. I'm very interested in your story, can I know more D

?If a person seems wicked, do not cast him away. Awaken him with your words, elevate him with your deeds, repay his injury with your kindness. Do not cast him away; cast away his wickedness.?

-- Tao The ChingSounds like the words of an insightful man.
It also is in line with Jesus words when he says "care also for your enemy".
Be well
