    Salam,
Again this is evidence tht we r devolving NOT evolving which is exatly the opposite.

The greatest enigma found with Neanderthal is their brain size, which is more than 13% larger than our own brain size. The average Neanderthal brain measured 1,500 millilitres in volume compared to less than 1,400 millilitres for humans current world-wide average. This brain size allowed for large cerebral hemispheres. Neanderthals were intelligent thinkers. Yet they left almost no permanent record of their presumed intelligence or culture. Some say he could walk the streets today in a suit collar and tie and be unrecognised, well maybe in New York, but about as unrecognisable as the incredible hulk without his green paint, would be a fairer reflection. Yet today study books continue to be full of illustrations of Neanderthals as subhuman ape-men. Out of date TV documentaries go on wrongly depicting Neanderthals as the evolutionary ape-man link.

Um, you fall under several misconceptions here.

First Neanderthals are not the ancestors of modern humans. They are a sister species, derived from the same ancestor and the went extinct. Their brains are bigger than modern human brains, but their bodies are also slightly bigger.

Second Homo erectus/ergaster, which is a more suitable candidate for the direct ancestor of modern humans, do have a smaller brain volume, 900 to 1100cc, but their bodies are of similar size and shape to modern humans, therefore giving them a smaller brain size/body mass ratio.

It is true that outdated documentaries and books portray Neanderthals as hairy brutes. As I told you, science corrects itself, and now Neanderthals are portrayed more humanlike. This is speculation, but nearer to their actual condition, IMO.

I have written about this three years ago. See the graphs and figures, you might find somthing interesting. If you're willing to learn instead of parroting creationist claims, that is.

However, Khizar, ignoring the evidence will just throw you deeper into obscurantism favoured by creationists.

        Salam,
Ok ill study the subject more GW. I agree with u tht science corrects itself. However after correction all the invalid data shld be removed from any student textbooks which is very often not done so tht the support 4 the theory of evolution does not weaken. This is unacceptable. Creationists readily admit tht their's is a religion too just like evolution. They demand tht either let the students see both sides i.e. creation nevolution or quit both of them n stop discussing the origin by means of specuative inferences, thts all. But the evolutinists dont want tht. They dont want the kids 2 hear abt creation in school at all. It is obvious tht they r afraid tht when they get 2 know abt this most of them wld never believe in evolution. Cant u see the clear hypocrisy there?
Btw wht does IMO mean? GOD Bless!

The size of the brain doesn't have anything to do with how intelligent it can be. That, and refer to Andya's first post.

Khi- I know tht n thts another pt y evolution is baseless since the claim tht the brain evolved is partly based on this false concept too. Lastly i request u 2 debate with Dr. Kent if u think ur right. Id like 2 see both of ur views. GOD Bless!
