I think the only reason it's "all over the general message board" is because some people don't bother to look for the discussions and simply start new threads. While others create new threads just for the heck of it. roll
This is not to say that it is a bad idea to create a new category... but IMO it seems there's quite a number of categories as it is. But that's just me.

About the recent outbreak of creationist material...
Khizar started flooding the board with creationist soundbites recently. I don't know what caused this. Probably some minor sparks started elsewhere and it escalated to an absurd situation where Khizar starts posting material from 'Dr. Dino'. I am active in another evolution/creationism discussion board, http//www.evcforum.net , and from my experience there, this Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind) is the bottom of the barrel, even his fellow creationists are ashamed of him.
As you people might notice, I rarely post evolutionary matters here. This is because I do it elsewhere. But Khizar, to quote a poster replying to him, try to raise confrontations that were not necessary.
But I must admit that people like Khizar stimulates my brain. At least they give me an incentive to be skeptical to myself, to question the things I thought I know, and to study critically before answering them.

Khi- Salam. Ill tell u wht cozed this. I didnt know any Quran Alone Muslim wld ever even think of believing in evolution, not 2 mention misinterpreting Quranic verses in order 2 support it. When i got 2 know this i got shocked n i felt tht i must expose the lies evolutionists use 2 support their theory. GOD Bless!

Nobody ever brought the topic of evolution as seriously as you. Nobody's preaching 'ye all must believe in evolution' here. People don't force their thoughts down each other's throats here.
So what's wrong with you? You don't even know what you are attacking. You don't show any sign that you are willing to learn. You use the most discredited of sources.
